"Wait.. No. You can't. I have to come with…" Ryan was freaking out. "I can come with. Belle tell them I can come with," He didn't want to miss anything and he was terrified that people were trying to take Belle from him. He had some deep rooted trust issues.
And we are very much aware of those trust issues seeing as they come out a lot. These two and their separation anxiety. Belle simply squeezed his hand with a smile before the nurses pulled her away into a room.
(If you can't tell, my writing style has changed a lot. Fourth wall breaking is my everything. Blame Wolfy. It's their fault)
Fourth wall breaking is my thing… back off. Lol
Ryan paced around the room, making everyone sitting there anxious. Darren walked in and chuckled. "Typical." he mumbled.
"Hey buddy, let's try to calm down a little… Where's Belle?" Darren was greatly entertained by this.
"Th-They just… They took her and they won't let me go with. How am I supposed to help, what if something happens?"
(It's very subtle though. We got pretty good at having conversations in character but not in character)
They hooked Belle up to a bunch of machines, checking her and the babies vitals. Everything was looking good although the pain was still increasing. But Belle's a strong girl and she was doing this all natural.
(Junior year is very icky. And at I can at least complain cause college is even ickier.)
(Yeah lol. true true)
"I'm not sure why they won't let you go with but they probably have their reasons." Darren guided Ryan to a chair. "Let's just wait okay?" Darren almost had PTSD in this waiting room, all the treatments, surgeries, worries, it was overwhelming.
Ryan sighed and fell back into his chair. "Yeah… wait,"
(And the username is back!)
Lillian pushed herself against Darren as they kissed. She forced every emotion she had into it and didn't even break away from it to flip Cooper off.
(Yuppers)
Darren barely even noticed, he had waited a long time to see her again.
Cooper groaned "if you're having a party, make your phone calls," Cooper had someone he wanted to see too.
Lillian broke away for just a second so she could half-shout, "Make your own phone calls."
(Shade… are you back?)
(Yes. COVID makes band very short.)
Lillian broke away for just a second so she could half-shout, "Make your own phone calls."
Darren's phone started ringing. "It's Belle? how does she already know I'm back?"
(Darren went to the hospital I guess to help because Belle is tryna have babies?)
(Yeah lol. true true)

After about an hour, a doctor came by to get Ryan and bring him up to Belle's room. She was doing okay but was struggling with the pain which was normal because childbirth.

(Band is like 2 hours for us)
(Hahahahaha, it's like 30 minutes and then we have to break. But today I just get done early.)
(Also I'm just gonna say Lillian went with Darren, cause she would definitely do that.)

Lol…
Ryan basically ran the nurse over trying to get to Belle. He stood by her side and took her hand. "I'm here, Belle,"
Darren looked over at Lillian… "I guess we just sit here? and wait?" he looked around the hospital waiting room, "Doesn't this place make you uncomfortable now with everything that's happened?"
Belle gratefully took her husband's hand, letting out a shaking breath. "I thought I had a higher pain tolerance than this but clearly I was wrong." She laughed breathlessly before wincing with a hiss as a new contraction started.
"I know this is hard, just try to breathe," a calm wave fell over Ryan, he felt better being here with her and he knew he had to be there for her.
"Yeah," Lillian said after a moment. She honestly found it hard to even speak while here considering how many times she had been both out here waiting and the one in the room being waited on. Stupid depression, stupid abuse, stupid suicidal thoughts.
Darren reached for Lillian's hand. "Today we're here for a good reason though, right? Our friends are having babies,"
"I know this is hard, just try to breathe," a calm wave fell over Ryan, he felt better being here with her and he knew he had to be there for her.
"I know, I know, I'm trying." She pushed when she had to, having to constantly remind herself how to breathe through the insistently mounting pain.
Lillian squeezed his hand and nodded not being able to bring herself to speak. She leaned up against Darren trying to take up all of his warmth after he had been gone for so long.
"I know, I know, I'm trying." She pushed when she had to, having to constantly remind herself how to breathe through the insistently mounting pain.
She was squeezing Ryan's hand so hard, his face turned bright red but he didn't say anything at all. It seemed selfish to complain about pain to someone who's literally giving birth.
Lillian squeezed his hand and nodded not being able to bring herself to speak. She leaned up against Darren trying to take up all of his warmth after he had been gone for so long.
"We have time. We should talk. How were you… mentally… while I was gone?" He knew things must've been very difficult for her.
(Should we skip? I don't know how childbirth works other than pushing and a hell of a lot of pain but I want Dallien to have their time)
The doctors kept a constant eye on the vitals, everyone in the room having small heart attacks when they would suddenly drop but everything was fine.
(Go ahead and skip)
"It's going to be okay," Ryan kissed Belle's forehead gently.
(Fine then!)
After 12 continuous hours of pain and pushing, Belle laid on her hospital bed with two wrapped up bundles in her arms. She was honestly exhausted but now she had her children. Her children. It sounded so weird.
The sound of the babies crying brought tears to Ryan's tired eyes as he peered over Belle to look at them.
