So the whole story is set in the U.S and these kids are all born with powers. Caleb is an abused Neo-Human (superhuman) who basically takes his sister (Joan also a Neo-Human) to Haven a safe place for their kind. The world is also in a semi post apocalypse ( because superheroes are so common crisis after crisis took it's toll. So now there are badlands scattered throughout the U.S and the rest of the world.
Caleb Idolized the old heroes and always dreamed of being like them. But he had to grow up. After a year of living in Haven his sister Joan is coping with her powers but her mental health is plummeting. Since he and Joan always shared the same dream of being superheroes he figures the best solution for her is to make her one. So he and some other friends leave the safety of Haven to become heroes.
I basically need to figure out what goes on from here. I need basically more. Like is someone after them? Did they piss someone off. Did their actions cause a problem they have to fix? I would appreciate any help thx.
After they head on the trip (i'm assuming it's in a car) their vehicle could break down. Thus, the struggle of surviving to the next city or civilization comes into play. Joan and Caleb never get to be the kind of superhero they thought they would be. Instead, they end up leading the group in a scramble for survival in the badlands. Ultimately, it's Joan who finds someone to help them, saving the group and becoming a hero to them. Caleb and his sister bond even more over the course of the story and learn that being a true hero isn't measured by the size of the deed, but the meaning behind it.
Basically, it's a quality over Quantity story. The need for personal heroism instead of worldly heroism.
Idk man just a thought
That's really good. So they'll be in like some kind of hovercraft (near future stuff) so they can all fit. So they'll face troubles like some of their friends can't control their powers. So one turns into a giant but goes into a destructive trance. Another is afraid of hers cause she accidently killed her family with hers. The last is more for comedy but is still an issue. He's a teleporter with A.D.D so he can't really focus on where he's going and even teleports at random. So villain wise they could run into a gang of sorts. But I like the idea of them becoming more simple heroes that do what they can. So they'll be helping their friends and others they find along the way. I was thinking for a climax though the main trouble could be the one who turns into a giant uncontrollably could be heading towards a city and they could try and turn him around. But he's 50 ft tall.
But all in all that really helps
