I need some help with my plot, since… I know who my characters are, and I have a 3/4 baked concept… :'D
Which I will now give you a short synopsis of. :)
So the basics of what I have in mind is a world (Named Caerus) that is opposite to our own, connected by a portal created by a wizard. So the queen of a very influential country basically hates wizards and witches and anyone who uses magic basically. She outlaws magic with a penalty of death, offers a reward to anyone who can turn in a wizard or witch, and basically incites a massive witch hunt. The story for a while follows a young boy named Anaias living as a servant in this queen's palace shortly before all the outlawing of magic happens.
So this queen had a child out of wedlock, she tried to hide it and Anaias is one of the few servants who knew about the child. So the baby gets left with another man named Azariah, who names the child Castiel and flees to our world (New York) through the portal and raises the child as his own. The story then begins to follow Azariah and Castiel as he grows up in our world.
Now here's where it begins to get a bit fuzzy, since I don't know quite what I'll do at this specific part, but something is going to spur Azariah and Castiel to return to Caerus, where the witch hunt has been raging on and spreading throughout the realm. And Castiel is the only one who will be able end all the madness, through his relationship with Rosemary.
Will…. Will this work? Does this have premise?? Could I make a 10,000 word novel with this?? I'm super nervous about it. If you don't think it'll work, maybe you could suggest something that might? uwu
