I want to write a cross country adventure with some ?fugitive? teens running form a government agency or other Big Bad, and I don't necessarily want them to be criminals, so I need some reasons people might be after them. I'm thinking maybe they've got super powers or smth idk
Yeah, maybe they can be a "threat to national/international security" meaning they could have powers that cannot be contained by the government, have perhaps used those powers, or can use them, to change the views of the people. Whether that be through confidential information on the government or something else I'm not sure. It would be cool if the government were trying to hide a big secret that if it got out would change people's views forever. Perhaps disease is something fake that the government has created to control the population or maybe the whole world is actually under a dictatorship but no one has realised yet. This could make it s really intense
