Okay, so in my Warriors fanfiction, I'm planning for the first "book" to be about humans trying to destroy the forest to put in an amusement park. I'm trying to make it not cliche though, or down people's throats.
So what do you need help with exactly?
I literally just said it.
Can you explain a little more what you need help with?? You're not being very clear…
Okay, okay.
So, I'm writing a Warriors series of 3 "books". In the first "book", the plot is about humans (the cats call them Twolegs) that want to build something (town, amusement park, zoo, whatever). The place they want to build on is the forest the Clans live in, and LionClan must stop them. The problem is, I don't know how to properly execute a conservation plot, but it's the only plot I can think of. That is what I need help with. I don't want to force the message, but I don't know what else to do.
Ohhh okay, that makes sense. The best thing to do here would be to make sure the humans aren't evil, but just indifferent. The humans shouldn't even think twice about destroying the LionClan's home. Also, focus on the LionClan's reactions to the destroying of their home. Make them angry, helpless, confused, etc. A conservation plot's always going to be a little cliché, but if you add your own spin to it, it should work just fine. :D
