So im trying to create my world and its going to be based around the conflicts of different factions. There are 10 total, and 5 of them are really well fleshed out, but im still missing 5. Personality- wise some of them are very similar but I want them to act/ react differently. I don't have the best names yet so I'll do them by color:
White wants peace, using tactics that benefit the group and disable the enemy, only using violence as a last resort.
Blue wants Perfection, using knowledge and manipulation to push them to their limits, and from there the world's limits.
Black wants power, using any tool available, mostly taboo ideas disregarded by other colors, they will serve themselves first.
Red wants freedom, emotional and physical, doing what the heart desires, when it desires and destroying anything in the way.
Green wants acceptance, while everyone else wants to change the world, they just want people to see it's already perfect, and nature is the best tool for the job.

Now here's where im in trouble, these encompass a lot, but there's 5 more with slightly different views. Each is broken into two simple traits.
Purple: Thinking uninhibited and thinking creatively.
Yellow: Sacrifices for ones and sacrifices for profit.
Orange: preservation of sanity and preservation of nature.
Brown: Newer is better and together is better.
Pink: Caring for the little man and caring for all man.

So far I've decided pink is the chaotic side to whites lawful. Kill evil, save the world, whatever it takes.
Brown is the worldly side of blue. Perfect the world, the world will perfect us.
But im stumped on the philosophy of the others. Clearly yellow is controlling and greedy but more of lawful evil to blacks chaotic. Orange and purple are tough too. Any ideas?

Here's the problem I have with this concept:
If you've got five well-fleshed out factions…what do you need the others for????? Odds are, the reader may have a hard time keeping track of ten different factions, especially when they start to get really similar. Quality, not quantity!
If you're still bent on keeping all ten, consider folding the others into sub-factions. Pink could be a splinter group within White, Brown could be a splinter group of blue. Yellow goes under Black. Orange goes underneath green. Purple could be a splinter group under Red.
Hope this helps!

That does actually help, thank you. I was kind of considering similar things, and just having the other 5 be more/less radical versions of the first 5
