forum Is this a good plot idea? (Spoilers)

So my plot is focused on two pals and their friends. The characters I think are well written, but I'm not sure about the plot. My brain b^ubble is that the main conflict is there is a giant problem in the city. People are turning into animals, mysteriously. It turns out that the Mr. Freezies, a local dessert place, is putting a chemical into their most popular item, the cream of eyes frosty, and it turns people(mostly children) into animals. If a person is an anima (a person with animalistic features), they turn into that animal, but ordinary people turn into random animals. People with very specific powers turn into similar animals. Is this good? I'm not sure. HELP.

Its a good start, though a bit childish. If its supposed to be ankle-biter based than i say that its a great start and now you just have to start writing. But if your looking for writing to an older audience (if your writing for an audience at all) then i suggest finding a reason other than an cream of eyes frosty for people to be turning into animals.
