Okay so my book actually has 3 plots in it: The main plot, the plot of a book that one character is writing, and the plot of a book that another character is writing. I need a subplot that basically thematically relates to my book. It's unimportant how fleshed out the idea is so long as I can get a few plot points out of it, but my brain is fried from figuring out what to change (I'm actually working on the second draft and changing to plot that I had been using) so I need a plot. Here's what you need to know:
The plot was made by someone in the hospital with cancer, then, after he died, given to his sister to write. The plot needs to be romance, but other than that, there are no guidelines. I want it to be vaguely existential ('cause, you know, the kid who made it was dying) but he tended to write whatever he pleased, almost always with a subplot of romance (which is actually necessary here). ALSO: The romance subplot should be somewhat unnecessary for the rest of plot because of how I'm setting up the book.
