forum I need help getting from point A to point B

So I have a plot outline for my comic project. It takes place in a semi-dystopian future, where people live under city-wide domes. In the first part of my outline, there is a magical man on a floating island above one of the domes, ya hear? My two protagonists, Nathan and Andre, have to "accidentally" get from a city under a dome to an island in the sky. There's the problem. If you have any ideas on how they get there, I would be pleasured to hear them.

-they can't fly
-teleporting made it feel cheated
-they have be quiet (no airplanes, no space ships)
-they have to get PAST the boundaries of the dome, since the island is in the sky above them

Sorry if I sound abstract, I will do my best to further explain the context if need be.

Uhhh context would be helpful, but I was thinking of some tips/suggestions:
-They were kidnapped maybe??? I'm not sure if that fits with your intent
-It's the future. Make quieter vehicles that can fly.
-The dome is an electric field and a sector of it shut down temporarily
-Or the dome is a physical plastic dome, and somehow they melted/cut a hole in it and covered their tracks

I can't think of anything else right now, but maybe that can get you started.
