I can't find anything that says anything about childhood romance in writing.

Seriously? I NEED HELP?
Uhhh
Uhhhhh
I dunno… Maybe this? http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ChildhoodFriendRomance
No, I meant, people are saying that childhood romance is bad in writing, how can I improve it?
Like what, you have two kids who fall in love? I don't exactly get what you're saying.
Childhood romance is being just friends until they are at the dating age?
For me, it's a character that was devoted to another character since character#1 was an infant and character#2, but character#2 doesn't give a crap about character#1 (he actually sort of hates her for nagging him all the time) until character#2 is a teen.
How can I improve on that?
Help? I'm really confused?
Oof this is a tough topic… is this like Disney Sleeping Beauty where they're engaged as small children?
No. Character#2's mother has suspicions about it, though.
Hmm… I'm not sure. Is the entire story literally just a childhood romance? Cause like, if so, I'd probably advise you to switch it up. But I love stories where they're best friends as kids, then they grow up, and maybe they don't always get along, but in the end they get together
No, the story then shifts to their kids in Chapter 5, also, read the Jun 20 comment about the thing?
Oh okay. Hmmm… I think I'm out of ideas for now, but I'll come back and add more if I think of them
Ya back?
Sorry, I still don't have any ideas. It's just v diff from the kind of stuff I write, sorry!
Honestly, if you're worried about it being bad though, or rather, that everyone's reaction will be terrible, to the point where you're not sure if you want to write it, I would write something else? Like I write controversial things, or things that can be interpreted or received as controversial, but like…. if I'm not super into it, then I won't write it.
I love the idea of two boys being best friends: like absolutely-devoted-to-each-other friends. They have their own secret language and their own secret world. They share imaginary friends and have sleepovers all the time. If they don't share a particular interest, then they support each other in whatever they do. They're best friends until one day when they've grown up, they realize that they love each other too. At first, they're too shy to tell each other about it, but when they finally do… <3!!! Bonus points if one of their parents are homophobic haters and the others are hippie liberals who couldn't care less. Even more bonus points if instead of boys, they're GIRLS!!!

YES THAT IS THE WAY TO DO A CHILDHOOD ROMANCE
No, this isn't how my story goes. It's a rewritten version of Fire Emblem 4 (a crazy asf one).
