forum Dealing with reincarnation?

So it turns out this long forgotten character has finally been reincarnated as a child, who is part of the main cast.
How do i bring this up and deal with it?

Well, do they still have the memories of their past life?

Could you do a scene where the reincarnated character just kinda walks in and is all like, "Hey ya'll look older." Or something memorable and kind of awkward?

Or you could make it very subtle, like that the child just uses similar catchphrases, walks similarly, has similar interests etc. So it could just always be the other characters speculating about the reincarnation but it never being confirmed outright because everyone's too afraid to ask…
