I have all these half baked characters and ideas that would be good to use for NaNoWriMo but plot n conflict is always so hard to figure out
What are yall going to write abt?
I've been doing a ton of worldbuilding and not a lot of writing for my main project, so I'll probably work on that
My main concern is figuring out the formatting- not sure if I want it to be like an actual story, or if I'll write it in a series of excerpts
Same here, that's what I plan to do too. My worldbuilding is nowhere near finished but working on the actual story might be a good break (and honestly sounds really exciting to me)
I think I'll shoot for 500-1000ish a day. I think that's a neat ballpark.
I think I might also shoot for this, but since I kind of already do that, maybe 2k? We'll see.
O.O
Listen, I- I've got a lot of spare time on my hands now that I'm done with college applications lmao
Thanks! I think you're very impressive yourself :D
looks over at the rp you have with Mojack :))
cringes because I havent responded to an RP in over 2 weeks…
Good luck to everyone! I know you can do it! :)
I’ve been staring at my phone for like. . . Half an hour and I can’t get5 past the moment Justin sets his little girl down and picks his axe back up cries
Like- COME ON- I know what I want t have happen, it’s the building up to it happening that kills me.
Good luck to everyone! I know you can do it! :)
Thank you.
Are you going to go for it andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)?

I'm pretty sure that shortcut is that when you go to 'documents', you can scroll down and see the word count and stuff for all your documents but I might be thinking of something else
wait wait wait
youre completely right
facepalm Im such an idiot
LMAO
if it makes you feel any better I didn't know what the stream was until like half of my time on this site had passed not including my old account

Yeah, but I've got about 290 documents that makes it hard to find the one document half way down the list. I'm wondering if theres a way to check while still on the editing document page
Question:
Do you revise your Nanowrimo stuff like all at once at the end of the month? Or do you hit your target word count and revise it like that?
I've never done NaNoWriMo but I'd suggest you do it at the end so you can get a big picture of the writing
28 words in after, like, three hours-
The words are most definitely not wording today- I want to write like three scenes and none of them are even remotely near each other timeline-wise
I'm trying not to worry too much about theme and symbolism and boring English major stuff, but then I do, and I start overthinking and then I'm 12 articles into a rabbithole trying to figure out whether or not the color yellow is evil
I am working on it, though. I'm up to 112 already.
(Damn, kinda glad I didn’t know what NaNoWriMo was. Because I would have probably killed myself if I joined.)
(Listen I'll be honest I didn't start writing until a little bit after I joined notebook. I'm just a little child in the writing world.)
