Alright. Ladies. Gents. Nonbinary and agender folks. I don't care. If you're doing Nanowrimo, this is for you.
I'm gonna start with the basics: You, my dude, can do this. Don't ever say you can't. It's going to be hard, and stressful, and you'll probably cry a few times, but when you type that last word and your word counter shows that number you've worked so hard for, you will realize it was all worth it. It's like running or graduating.
On that note, I'm going to be honest: You may not finish. A very wise man once said "life happens," and it's true; Life does indeed occur, and sometimes it can be busy, or sad. Remember: Nano might be a big deal for you, but your wellness should always come first. Always.
And your goal doesn't have to be the standard 50,000 words in a month. It can be whatever you want it to be. Hell, it can be 100 words in a month. 50. 10, even.
Oh, and a tip: Nanowrimo is about getting those words down. Don't delete or rewrite until you've reached your goal, whatever it is.
If you ever doubt yourself, PM me. We'll figure it out.
I believe in every single one of you. You will conquer Nanowrimo. I promise.
