I’ll just keep track of my stuff here
I started a thing a while back, and I’m thinking about bringing it back to life.
Everything may be disorganized, but honestly, who cares? It’s all about 50,000 words.

Word count: 33,774 (Remember, I’m picking this up where I left off months ago)
Plot is being still solidified, so it’s super rickety. Follows three characters: Max, Miles and Kamon.

Max is on his way to school— it’s the last day and everything is going as normal. He sits down to take his test and he gets a terrible bathroom bug. Once the first break comes around, he does what he needs to do and gets back to it. His teacher interrupts him that he’s distracting everyone else with what seems like to him an unnoticeable hand and leg twitch. He’s escorted by his friend Anna to another room to take his test, however, on the way over, he decides to take a bathroom break while he has the chance. In the middle of walking to the nearest bathroom in, there’s an announcement that there’s an unknown being in the school with an unknown current location. He rushes to the bathroom for safety, soon meeting up with a boy named Owen Trilby. He says he’s skipping the entire test since the education system is mediocre in his mind. After some time, Owen exits and disappears. Max follows him out, but is unsure where he went. He hears a strange noise coming from the adjacent hallway, and peeks down there only to see the strangest lion-like creature he could’ve ever seen.
In terror, he runs away, up the stairs to return to the classroom. Since the entire school is theoretically on lockdown, every door is locked and barricaded for safety. After begging for someone to let him in, he has to abandon it since the lion-thing is closing in on him. Max reaches the staircase at the end of the hallway and escapes outside of the school and far away in the woods nearby. As outlandish as he thought it was, he finds his way back to the top-level entrance on a differnt road. There, he finds animal control to help seize the beast and put back where it belongs. He follows them far behind as to stay secret from them. He watches them down in the cafetirea as the beast is shot with tranquilizer multiple times, but is proved ineffective for reasons that are unexplained. As they come back around where they came from, Max hides out in the restroom to avoid being taken for questioning.
Afterwords, he finds himself returning to business as usual, sittind down with his friends, telling them both about what he saw and about that Owen Trilby ominously disappeared. Once lunch is over, Max asks Anna if she would help him in finding Owen, as his two best friends are too insincere about it. She agrees, and they all return to their rooms to finish up testing.
The test is done, and everyone is going home when Max and Anna meet outside the school to go and look for him. They wander away and to the nearby woods, off to Anna’s house. Time goes by fast, and soon they find themselves lost, and essentially never make it to her house.

(For the sake of breaking it up, I’ll pose perspectives in different posts)
Miles is having a typical, laxed game of basketball with three of his best friends, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer), Michael and Kyle. Since they all realize that they’re burning really badly— it’s Summer— they decide to all go over to Miles’ house to just sit and chill. On their way over, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s girlfriend, Serena comes and catches up to them and starts talkikng about their new neighbor. He asks if she could come along, since she could use some friends. They all agree, and andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) and Serena disappear to go and get her. Miles, Michael and Kyle all arrive at Miles’ place, and they just loathe around until andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) and Serena show up with Claire, Serena’s new neighbor. Kyle seems to be fascinated by her, as he calls her “the sexiest girl my age I’ve ever seen in my life.” Of course, time progresses, and Miles’ mother made some pizza for all of his friends. As they’re eating, their cat, Pobon makes an appearing, clambering and rubbing up against Claire. Miles sees it as a slight suspicion, as the cat never seemed so amiable to strangers. However, just as things were going well, a slight vibration in the ground disturbs them greatly, and they finish up, and immediately leave the house to go and investigate.
They all wander around outside, late at night, to investigate where exactly it came from. Michael goes home to ask his mother about the incident, and Serena goes home to catch up on school work. They group up in the basketball court they were playing in earlier. They look around but find nothing. However, just as they were about to leave, an unexpected sinkhole opens up under their feet, swallowing everyone that instant.
Miles is awoken by Kyle, and they find themselves in a strange, scrap steel land with the air full of yellow-greenish fog. They all move onward, unsure of what they’re looking for. Kyle is still hanging over Claire’s shoulder, drooling over her for how wonderful she looks. Along the way of aimlessly meandering, small, abrupt arguments surface, and as an attempt to stop Kyle from creeping Claire out, he uses an old discarded pair of handcuffs to pt him in his place. They wander around for a bit, and eventually see a stream of smoke off in the distance. After being attracted to it, they meet up with two stranger men. One of them introduces themselves as Fred and Frank. They share about how exactly they got where they ended up, and they all conclude that a strange sinkhole swallowed them up, and they woke up in the steel wasteland. At one point, Miles begins to hear strange noises off in the distace, and although they have no idea what it is, they still go and check it out. Eventually, they arrive where the sound is coming from, and a robotic monster emerges from the ground— Mechanica MKIII.

(Looo this one’s kinda my favorite)

Kamon and his Russell Terrier, Kernel were working hard in a potato field. He wants to call it quits because of the awful high heat that hit them. His older brother Kameron comes along and asks him to get out of there so that he can do the job quickly and properly. Kamon and Kernel head back inside the house where his mom is cooking dinner. She asks what the matter is, and after a small conversation, Kamon sends himself upstairs to take a nap, although it’s not allowed at all. He lays down in bed and begins to cry, knowing what’s coming to him since he didn’t finish his work on time. Before he’s actually able to fall asleep, his mom comes up and tells him his father is waiting for him down in the kitchen. When he arrives, he is escorted to the barn to get what he deserves. In the midst of walking over, Kamon tries to escape through the string bean field and off into the corn field, but gets caught and dragged to the barn by the arm. He is thrown into a secluded room and severely whipped. Afterwords, he is sent back to the house, his back burning like crazy. He sits down for dinner, but after getting intensely insulted by Kameron, he goes straight to bed. He plots to run away from home, along with Kernel.
Much later, Kernel wakes Kamon from his sleep and tells him to get his stuff together and leave the nest. He gets out of the house, only to run into his neighbor from across the street, Lee. They strike up some sort of conversastion, and he soon learns the bad news that Kamon’s leaving town. Although he never intended on it, he allows Lee to come with him on his voyage. So they sneak through town and manage to avoid all the night guards and sneak into the railyard on the north side. However, as the night patrollers get suspicious of them, they hide out in an open boxcar and take cover behind a few wooden boxes. As the watchmen pass by, the car begins to move and they’re on their way to their new life elsewhere.
Kamon, Lee and Kernel are all riding a boxcar together, completely unsure of where they’re going. The dog then quickly despises Lee and begins to attack him, with a result of one of the boxes breaking. They realize it’s just chalk sticks. Kamon, taking prior knowledge from his mother, makes a mark on the inside the car. After a while of just talking and such, they call it a night and fall asleep.
When they wake up in the morning, they find themselves far from the dry and dusty town of Donburrow and in a nice, green, lush town. They get off when it comes to a stop, and Kamon first finds out that he’s further from home than he thought.

Update
I just found a bunch of handwitten stuff for this particular story that I planned to put into my story. Unsure what to say about it since it’s supposed to be part of the first version of my “novel” (Yes, I’ve tried rewriting this thing four different times) and what I just spat out at people was part of the second version. However, I’m sure I’ll manage to fuse them together somehow.
