I have the plot idea down, a decent start on my story, but I don't know what I should/could do for it now…. Help me!!!!!

Plan. That's all I can say. If you know what you want to write, plan chapters to get to that point.
Trust me, it's really helpful. I have a story with all 8 chapters planned (it's a short one), and I have to say it's extremely helpful. You know what you're going to write and how you're going to go about it.
It can have as much or as little detail as you want: it doesn't matter. As long as you have something it will help.

Also edit your work. All the time.

If you plan it in a good way, you should know what to do. Plans are really helpful if you do them right.
