okay so like i started on day one with a bunch of ideas and i have an outline and stuff but i wrote a few sections out of order. i didn't start at the beginning and i wrote like a few of the middle sections that define kinda the big parts of my story.
but the thing is that now on the third day, i don't know what to write. i haven't been able to come up with a beginning besides just how i want it to start plot-wise.
and i've just been writing random pieces that somehow i'll put together to make a novel. but i'm behind on my wordcount now because i don't know how to start.
I dunno if this is helpful or not, but just think about how the events came to be
Like, how did they (your characters) get into those situations you wrote/outlined?
I dunno, I’m not very helpful with these kind of things
I feel like mine is going too fast
Like, we're three pages in and we've already met the main characters.
Well, I suppose it all depends on the plot and stuff
(Yeah I know I’m SUPER helpful)
But for my nanowrimo thingie, I have the story told from three different perspectives of the main characters, so…. I just think it all depends on certain things
yah that's true…
I can smooth it out later, for now I'll just word vomit.
I have legit 124 pages of word vomit that I’m bringing back from the dead
But I dunno if I want to do more, or smooth out what I have already looooo
Now that's a lot of word vomit.
Yes it is
But I dunno what to do— refine or add on?
I would personally refine just so I know where I am and how I want to move the plot on.
Ok thanks
I planned on doing that initially, but i wasn’t so sure.
