Music choice is a pretty good way to get to know someone, and while everyone has their favorite song, I want you guys to tell me your top 5 favorite albums. They can be any genre as long as they are compiled in an album and you can find them… somewhere. Here are mine:
-
2112 – Rush
-
Sound & Fury – Sturgill Simpson
-
Plastic Beach – Gorillaz
-
Antipop – Primus
-
Monster Hunter: The Jazz – Zac Zinger and his band
I think the reason I chose most of these is that the songs flow so well together. The transitions work beautifully, to the point where I can't listen to most of these songs by themselves or on shuffle because the transitions work so well for telling a story. You can't do that in 2112, fortunately, but at the cost of listening to one giant-ass 20-minute song. I think everyone should listen to 2112 at least once in their lives.
hi! these are mine -
-
take this to your grave - fall out boy
-
pretty. odd. - panic! at the disco
-
from under the cork tree - fall out boy
-
narrated for you - alec benjamin
-
blurryface - twenty-one pilots
i have very different reasons for choosing these, for the most part. pretty. odd. and from under the cork tree were the first albums i had ever heard from either band and i have some great memories associated with both. blurryface reminds me of someone i deeply care about. narrated for you tells a great story and invokes strong emotions. it's very unique. as for take this to your grave, it's just so good. in my opinion, it's fall out boy's best album.
can already hear my friends calling me emo with this one when i don't even come close, smh.
-
A Fever You Can't Sweat Out - P!ATD
-
Wiped Out! - The NGHBRHD
-
Double Dare - Waterparks
-
FANDOM - Waterparks
-
Infinity on High - FOB
Anyways, Waterparks might soon completely take over my top 5 once I hear the rest of their stuff, who knows?
i legitimately love too much music and it physically hurts to choose but here i go
