yeah, i stalk his twitter even though i don't actually have my own account, so i did some investigating. ^^

but, i'm gonna be brutally honest, it's not that i don't like his post I will Be Nothing Without Your Love stuff, but there's a reason i call it "post I Will Be Nothing Without Your Love". i don't dislike V1 or V2 by any stretch, or and of his onlychild stuff, but it doesn't really…leave an impact, if you know what i'm saying? i like that he's experimenting and all, but i admittedly do miss his older sound, The Bad and the Better being my favorite album. i think he's trying too hard to be someone else (if covering drake hints at anything?) and it works sometimes, sometimes not as much….

@houdini

exactly! i hope he finds what works best for him. i love the emotions in his older stuff (i love emotions in music, period) and his lyrics are, well, more meaningful then? i'm not trying to insult him, since i really really love him and would never want to discredit him, but it's easy to see what he's capable of thanks to his older stuff….but yeah, totally rambling lol. which album(s)/song(s) are your favorite(s)?

@faltering_through pets

Dude, same, I'm with you on the feeling emotion in the voice thing. I saw this cover done on Billie Eilish's song 'When the party's over' and you can just feel the raw emotion put into it. Also, I gotta say that Feel good now is my favorite album and my favorite song is 'A little more love'

@houdini

'a little more' is my jam

but i'd have to say my favorite would be more along the lines of…well, dang this is hard… probably 'are we happy now?' because i relate too much and i love his voice and the overall flow of the song. close others would be 'no love', 'terrible things', 'higher', 'disappearing act', 'concrete' (the first i ever heard by him), or 'limits'…….

BUT THERE'S SO MANY

@houdini

oh my god yes
'killer' was the third one i heard by him, after 'concrete' and then 'love like woe'. can i also say how much i love 'castaway'???

@houdini

yeess and it's really uplifting, which is rare in my typical music!! lol. i also love his cover of 'am i wrong', better than the original because, again, emotion is key! also, 'lost art' is really good (i say as i'm listening to it now)
