I was just on the singing side of bargain bin tik tok (YouTube shorts) and god I forgot how much i love singing. I'm gonna throw a list of songs that I love to sing here and yall tell me what you like to sing as well

  • Misty Mountains - Richard Armitage <333 god when I first heard this when I watched the Hobbit I got chills
  • Otherside - RHCP,,, god such a good one to put a shit ton of emotion into
  • Redeemer - Palaye Royal, same as above…. and you get a little rough and screams at the end and ogh perfect
  • Kidnap the Sandy Claws - specifically the Korn version,,, go absolutely apeshit with all the different emotions and phrases in the song
  • Madame Guillotine- the Scarlet Pimpernel, this is my favorite song ever from a musical and it lives rent free in my head
  • Mama - MCR, I am instantly a doomed Victorian man standing in the rain at a somber funeral whenever I sing this
  • Supermassive Black Hole - Muse. this song is so fun to play around with, especially varying breath support and airiness of the voice ajhdjsk
  • Enter Sandman - Metallica, ah yes, the song my dad raised me on. the chorus is just so perfect for belting
  • Whisper - Burn the Ballroom, the perfect song to sing if you feel like being a royal manipulator,,, oogh so gender
  • En Livstid I Krig - Sabaton, it may be in Swedish but that certainly isn't stopping me from learning the words and sobbing over a fictional Swedish soldier that ponders his last moments and wishes to see his son just one last time
  • Lay All Your Love On Me - ABBA, the obligatory ABBA song,,, god it's just so fun to sing
  • Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy - Queen, now the obligatory Queen song alhfksk whenever I sing/hear this, I am instantly a British teenager in the 80s pining BAD over his best friend while he listens to the sweet buttery vocals of Freddie Mercury whilst laying on his bed and staring at the ceiling
  • Comin' in Hot - Hollywood Undead, this one but only Danny's part (the chorus) alfhksks it's so fun and the rhyming scheme tickles my brain just right
  • Fields of Verdun - Sabaton, the rhyming scheme in the chorus makes me unbelievably happy
  • Dead Man's Party - Oingo Boingo, the bouncing bass mixed with the funky vocals akfhjsks easy favorite
  • Psychosocial - Slipknot, would i even be a metal fan if I didn't include slipknot on here akdhjsks I love getting a little gritty with vocals sometimes and the transition between the screaming and smooth chorus is so fun

alhfjsksk that's it for now. i might add more later but in curious to see what yall listen and sing to

ahhh I love singing sm haha
unfortunately I feel like most of these are going to end up being musicals songs but I swear I listen to other stuff too-

  • down side of me by chvrches - I feel like it kinda rolls off my tongue lmao
  • uhh the ballad of jane doe from ride the cyclone,,, I DEFINITELY can't do all the insane vocal gymnastics anywhere near as well as emily rohm but like. it's still so fun to sing and it gives me chills every time
  • i don't need your love from six - I get to sing slow sad bits and more angry bits in the same song which I love
  • whatsername by green day - I like singing lower for once!! honestly I could put a ton of green day songs on here but this one has some really fun notes to sing in it (if that makes any sense lol)
  • homecoming by green day but specifically the very first verse (agggh I love it so much, especially when it goes up a little bit) and we're coming home again. you know what the whole thing is just perfection. all the little sections are so so good to sing
  • the tree on the hill from the lightning thief musical - most of this one isn't even singing but the bits that are,,, jesus christ I love them so much. like where it goes up for the higher note I love singing that
  • (also from tlt musical: my grand plan, good kid and last day of summer - this musical is my latest obsession and I am filled with the urge to just sing them all again and again)
  • MY obligatory ABBA song has to be mamma mia because it's a classic for a reason
  • and my obligatory queen song is i want to break free because I must fulfil my fundamental need to be extremely dramatic and pretend I'm in a movie

this was so much fun to do…I have so many more so I will most likely be back at some point akfdakdhjsks

Ok so I have a pretty wide range, but alto/lower soprano is my most comfortable spot. I like songs with a gentler tone and pretty melodies, but belting is nice sometimes lol

Two Birds - Regina Spektor

Most music by AURORA, especially songs like Runaway or Running With The Wolves

Legends Never Die - League of Legends

Daylight - David Kushner (I usually sing a bit higher for this one)

Anything by Alec Benjamin, his music has always has fun melodies and we have a similar vocal range

Golden Hour - JVKE, it’s such a great song

lovely - Billie Eilish & Khalid

ocean eyes - Billie Eilish

Welcome to Wonderland - Anson Seabra

Willow Tree - Rival, Cadmium, & Rosendale

Seasons - Rival, Cadmium, & Harley Bird

Off topic but I love trying to learn Japanese songs by looking at the romaji lyrics,,, especially songs like Idol or Loli God’s Requiem (Yes I know what the lyrics mean. But it’s a nice sounding song in a language I don’t speak anyway so I really don’t care much) also I’m learning the dance to Loli God’s Requiem
