I first heard of them back in 2007, but I didn't really start listening to them until I think around 2012 or 2013. You?

dang you've known of them for a lot longer than me lol. my friend actually forcefully introduced them to me right after 'i knew you when' was dropped. which, ironically enough, just came on my playlist.

but i've been studying and catching up on all their videos and interviews and music, which has been really fun!!

Duuuude I saw this thread when you made it and i was like "I have no idea what the fuck this band is but imma check it out" so a few hours later I was sitting there jamming out to 'Haven't had enough' and I was gonna comment on this but I got shy lmaooo but yeah, I think they're cool so far even though I've only listened to like one of their songs. I'll probably listen to more later so if you can recommend some songs I would totally appreciate it man

Haha yeah, I live innear Vancouver which is also where they're from. I think my first introduction to them was hearing Shake Tramp on the radio. I also remember they had this really funny commercial when Masterpiece Theatre came out and I'm so glad I found it

That's too bad. I've seen them live twice and they were amazing. Both time I've seen them there was a point where Josh got off the stage and walked around the floor seating area. The second time I saw them I had floor seat and Josh came close enough for me to almost touch him (video evidence).

It wasn't really my favourite tbh. Maybe I just need to listen to it again, but I didn't enjoy it as much as their other albums.

and i know what you mean, about phantoms. first time i heard it, i wasn't quite disappointed…more like trying really hard not to be…but then i kept listening to it and it really grew on me, and now it rivals even ever after!!

I think the same on the phantoms album. I think their other songs were better, though I still did enjoy listenin' to it. My favorite (and probably only one) of that album was 'The Killing Kind'

but no i love all of them, specifically 'echoes of you', 'don't miss me?', 'wish you were here', 'i knew you when', 'the death of me', and 'the killing kind'. i can't rate them any further though because i really do love them all. even though that's literally over half the album lmao

I think Celebrity Status is probably my favourite music video from them, even if it's just because of the first 25 seconds.
