I'll keep all my eminem and emo shit out of here but–

  • anything by chase atlantic slays and you've probably heard a lot of their songs in edits
  • I Found by Amber Run hits different, especially when it's raining

@MarDeColores this is not it kids

Alright, so… basically all the songs from 36 Questions, but especially "A Better Version" and "Hear Me Out". And again, almost all the songs from Venice. Definitely the entire second act, but some of my favorites are "Sunrise", "If Only", and "Wings".

Remy

bruh yall sleepin on The Birthday Song by Caroline Konstnar
and like, giant enemy spider by Yun Head
also I Don't Know You by The Marias
and please listen to The Satirist's Love Song by Lemon Demon for those characters (or you) who see their 'meaningful' past or present relationshsips as a joke.

i don't know if i've put these before

  • come with me by chxrlotte
  • body by mother mother
  • coffee by beabadoobee
  • downtown girl by hot chelle rae
  • jasey rae by all time low
  • fever dream by diveo

@Starfast group

  • Masterpiece Theatre Parts 1, 2, and 3 by Marianas Trench (Honestly, a lot of their songs deserve more recognition, but no one ever talks about these songs and that's honestly a tragedy).
  • Neighbourhood 1 Tunnels by Arcade Fire
  • Gold on the Ceiling by the Black Keys
  • Lost in Stereo by All Time Low
  • Beck and Call by July Talk
  • Bully by Black Pistol Fire
  • 13 by Allan Rayman
  • This is How I Disappear by My Chemical Romance
  • Northern Downpour by Panic! At the Disco (I know some people don't really like their newer stuff but I really encourage you to check this one out anyways because it's one of their older songs and it's a lot different from what they're doing now).

Ok, these next few are honestly all just by Mother Mother. I was only going to mention like 2, but I'm high key obsessed with them and I kept thinking of more as I went so. Tbh, you could probably just put their entire discography here. But I guess I'll just highlight a couple favourites:

  • No Culture
  • Letter
  • The Wild
  • Give Me Back The Night
  • Burning Pile
  • Hayloft
  • The Stand (This one is kinda weird? Idk how to explain it other than I really hated the first time I heard it?)
  • Free
  • The Drugs (I feel like this one is kinda more popular but it's my favourite song so I'm including it anyways)

If you like rock/punk music, Our Last Night has a few rock covers of pop songs

My favorite is their cover of Habits

@Kefi

  • Fallingwater, Maggie Rogers
  • Without the Lights, Elliot Moss
  • Eternal Sunshine, Jhene Aiko
  • Silver + Gold, Elliot Moss
  • Smother, Daughter
    These are some much smaller artists, but they have some GOOD stuff. Especially Maggie Rogers and Elliot Moss, in my opinion- they're music is great to listen to while painting or writing (:

@sock group

You can find a lot of good songs on a YouTube channel called Common Sense. It makes lyric videos for lesser known artists of a variety of genres.
I highly recommend 'March' by Jesse Abbey too! :)
