She's a whiny jerk.
She's a whiny jerk.
I KNOW!! SHE'S SO SELF RIGHTIOUS!!!
Ok, so for y'all who have seen the second movie…
SPOILER ALERT
She goes and gets married and for gosh sake she's literally walking down the aisle, when she burts into tears and goes and hides like a little baby. Her "practically perfect in every way" (may poppins y'all) grandma comforts her and she goes up in the church like "Bro I think I can rule without a husband like what the heck I can do whatever I want" and my dad pointed out "Well, she already proved that she can't follow the rules, so she is gonna be a horrible queen. She's basically saying 'Oh, well I want you to make an exception because I dont wanna follow this rule and I wanna have my way.' That isn't responsible, girls". He has 3 daughters and never misses out on a chance to teach them something.
Gosh darn it I love my dad.
How would you feel if you were forced into marriage? She stuck up for women's rights. Who cares if she changed an ancient rule, it was for the better. Changing one thing does not make her a horrible queen, it makes her honorable so that the people will know she's going to do what's right, not what's easy.
That's a good point. But the thing was, nobody questioned it. They're just like "Whelp, break rules. You're pretty, so we don't give a crap." I supposed we can all have our own opinions. I don't really agree with yours, but mine's an opinion. :-)
I'm gonna have to tell that to my dad…
