Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld ( the whole trilogy to be honest because I absolutely fell in love with them-)

Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, Fablehaven (and Dragonwatch) by Brandon Mull, Mr. Lemoncello's Library by Chris Grabenstein, The Candymakers by Wendy Mass, oof, that's all the not-as-popular books I can think of that I LOVED and would recommend.
