Eyros seemed quite a bit more protective of raf, he'd growl when people got too close or tried to shoulder check either one of them. “ what is people's problem today?” he said a little snappy.
Then Leo came up, making eyros growl from deep within his throat.
Leo chuckled a bit scared “ so, Raphael, let's talk. “ he said and pulled the werewolf to the side
Raf noticed the new level of protection. He didn’t unstaffed why the Hellhound why so protective of him. He placed a hand on Eyros’ shoulder, concerned over the hounds overprotection. “No one’s being an issue..” And then he bumped into Leo. He screamed, jumping before realizing it was the bitch from before. Raf shunned away as Leo pulled him aside. “What do you want? I don’t want you to talk to me, say my name, or try to get me to sleep with anyone. Good day!”
“ you wanted to take the deal in person” he taunted loud enough for eyros to hear
“ what deal?” the hell hound said a little infuriated. “ what is he talking about raf?”
Raf gritted his teeth, annoyed with Leo’s bullshit. “I don’t know what he’s on about. He’s been bugging me since I arrived here.” He growled. “I didn’t make any deals. It’s all in his head.”
Lei chuckled “ you made a deal when you sided with the hell hound, a deal to his father.” Leo said warningly but walked away
By the time Leo left, bolts of lighting were racing across his skin
Raf snapped at Leo, claws and fangs going for his throat. He tried his best to control himself, but Raf didn’t have much control. He managed to stop himself as his claws made contact with Leo’s cheek. “You’re an idiot! Really.” He hissed, letting the kid walk off with a few wounds. Turning to Eyros, Raf shook his head. “He won’t be back for a while.” He paused. “I might be wrong about that, but at least for now, he left.”
Eyros raised his hands so raf wouldn't touch him
“ you didn't have to..” he said softly
Eyros let the energy dissipate through his fingertips as he touched the wall.
Raf made sure his claws disappeared, a light glow in eyes dissipating. “He was pissing me off. You never piss off a werewolf.” A faint aura of darkness surrounded Raf, and now when you think about it, he’s never really displayed his unnatural ability. The one he shouldn’t have. Instead he stuck by Eyros’ side, head down awaiting the next move. Raf didn’t like that he snapped easily. He needed to learn control.
Once eyros knew the energy was gone he hugged raf, Pulling the werewolf close to him. “You don't know how grateful I am that you stood up for me when I couldn't, “ he said
Raf flushed slightly, but it wasn’t to noticeable if you weren’t looking for it. He wasn’t used to being praised and let alone hugged. “It was nothing. People like that are weak. They make up for it by hurting others mentally.” He looked down quietly. “But in reality, I lost control. It was slight, but I still lost it.”
“ Well, even if you lost control, I'm still thankful,” he said softly, letting raf out of the hug and letting a soft smile show
Raf smiled. “You’re welcome! But now what?” He chirped, leaning onto Eyros. “You should smile more. It makes you look cute.” He clamped his mouth shut, now embarrassed he said that.
“ oh really?” he said, and flushed a bit “ we should get to class now,”
Raf smiled softly, his cheeks a tinge of red. "Uhhh, yeah." He muttered awkwardly. "We should. I don't want to be suspiciously late." He waited for Eyros to lead the way, still in shocked that he'd called Eyros cute- out loud.
Eyros had smiled most of the time he was with raf, his mind constantly running over their conversation
Raf walked into the class, looking over the many students mixed in. He turned right around, scared of the people in the room, but ran into Eyros. "I don't want to go inside." He whined. "There's too many people and they all look mean."
Eyros wrapped his arms around the werewolf. He sighed and nestled into raf “ I'm in the same class, you sit beside me if it'll help alright?”
Raf whined, laying his head on Eyros' shoulder, blush growing on his cheeks. "Alright.. It might. But I still don't want to be here. A group of people can be malicious. Especially if that Leo kid is in here."
“ and a hell hound it the bringer of death. I'm sure they won't fuck with you while I'm around,” he said reassuringly. He rubbed rafs back softly as he tried to get the other to class
Raf frowned, moving into the classroom. He placed himself by the window, looking out at the property. He liked the outdoors better than some useless class. The scrawny werewolf seemed like the perfect target to bully, but Raf could take care of himself well. And no would be able to find the body.
Eyros sat beside raf, in turn, made three kids get up and move to the other side of the room. “ told you” he mumbled
Raf continued to watch the outdoors, gazing at playful birds hungerly. "They avoid you like the reaper. I've never seen that happen to anyone else before. Maybe I'm not the only outcast in this world." He mumbled, waiting for the class to start.
“ I'm the reaper to them.” he said and laid his head on rafs side of the desk
Raf smiled softy, patting Eyros on the head like he did their first encounter. "You're no reaper, Eyros. Death is something that come inevitably on a ticking grandfather clock."
(I don't think Eyros ever introduced himself, but Raf now knows his name XD)
Eyros chuckled but leaned into rafs hand “ I know but yet I am treated as if I am the one to kill them..”
