Yessss, please do! I can't wait to read it!
okay so here's chapter 1 of the fic (since the chapters are pretty smol eeeek-)
It has been many a year past since DIO lost to Jotaro in Egypt that fateful day. This day has shaken Juniper to the core ever since he bore witness to that very atrocity. He'd been told many times to just let go, but even so, he couldn't begin to fathom the grips put on him by the loss of his master. Juniper had tried time and time again to get past the pain of this loss, but whenever his grief showed its ugly, blood-stained face, he was put forcefully back into square one. He'd never understood why losing DIO hurt this much, even despite knowing his bond with the very man who took him in back then. He had entrusted his everything to DIO, and to lose him just like that was a pain Juniper could not wish to bear. As he lay awake for what felt like the tenth night in a row, he rose his fingers to the skin on his sickly pale neck, trying to feel for the marks left behind by DIO when he helped Juniper turn. He then realized that those same marks had healed over, covered by new skin that was just as pale as the old skin it had replaced.
"It's been so long. The pain, it'sā¦ it's excruciating," Juniper said in a hushed tone, beginning to talk to himself seeing as there was nobody else around for him to actually speak to. He'd done this ever since his servantry for DIO officially began; he would vent quietly before he gave in to the lulls of slumber, or he'd begin opening up to the person he saw in the reflection of the mirror every passing day. Juniper eventually shut himself up entirely, now seeing self-assurance or things of that sort as futile and nothing but. Just then, an unfamiliar presence began pounding on the mansion's doors. Unknowing of whom had arrived at an ungodly hour such as this, he went to the doors and opened them up with a careful swing. There stood a short, blond male with brownish-blue eyes that felt all too familiar, despite not at all knowing who this stranger was.
"You're Juniper Hasburn, yes?" the male asked, causing Juniper to stir ever so slightly. "Yes, I am," replied the furthermore tired Juniper.
"Good. I've been looking for you."
Okay. First of all, that passage is amazing. The words really flow together, and it sounds so pretty. And second, woah. That gave me shivers a bit. That's amazing!
