I'm trying to design a layout for a modern city for something I'm working on. Does anyone know of any good (free) software or website I could use for such a thing?

Some software:

For individual buildings in your city, you can use Live Home 3D. It's technically not free, but you get everything in the unlimited free trial (with the exception of saving your work).

For the entire city, you can use:

• Blender (For a more general rather than detailed view), there are plenty of Internet tutorials!
• MagicaVoxel - For an example, take the village of Paradesque (Not my own work)

They're often not free, but if you have any citybuilding games you can usually repurpose them for this. I use Cities: Skylines ($30) to design some of my urban/modern cities.

@andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) I really wish I could get something like that. Money is, unfortunately, kind of tight at the moment. My one "luxury" purchase for a while will be my annual notebook.ai subscription when it comes due in March. (My notebook subscription is my late birthday gift to myself - since my birthday was yesterday)
