"Welcome to Legacy High. Here you will make a name for yourself and grow your Legacy. Few make it. You're here for a reason. Do not blow it."

Idk but I kinda want a superhero rp. Where they're at a high school for superheroes, made to perfect their powers and only some go on to be heroes.
Maybe all of them become friends and when they graduate form a hero team.
Idk.

(I'm sorry but I'm going to say no. I don't want to be rude or anything but you're just really shit at basic grammar and spelling. I'm very picky about that stuff because I'm in grade 11 and my mum is a teacher, and you haven't made the cut. I'm sorry. Also you don't make a book, you write a book.)

Deleted user

(I'm interested, but I believe that the people above fulfill the four-player requirements. Am I able to stalk?)

Deleted user

( @Gentleman yes please, that would be helpful
@CWPoofToxicRush yes you may
@PrettyLittlePyro absolutely
@Abserd-Is-Married-I-Guess you can join, @/MosisIsWorkingOnMakingABook isn't joining (not wanting to be rude or anything, i've literally seen them misspell sensor, maybe, screen, every, something….etc. i cant deal with that). but if you could give me a writing sample that would be very appreciated)

(wait…. @Abserd-Is-Married-I-Guess im really sorry i completely forgot that I count as a person in the rp. you can stalk if you like though. do you want me to make a o/o for you?)

@Gentleman

Here it is. These aren't from anything in particular, just some snippets to give you an idea of my writing. I hoped offering a variety would help you gouge my general RPing style a bit more.

Leea shivered once, burying her hands deep into the pockets of her wool jacket. Colorful leaves skidded across the concrete walkway before her, tossed violently by the wind. They scattered and bounced over her path before getting caught up into the air again, whisked away as quickly as they came. She watched them come and go, watched them skitter along the pavement before being sucked back into the sky.
Emptiness ate away at her heart. She was no different than a dead leaf blowing in the breeze. One day, she too would be swept away by the wind, only to be lost forever. No one would remember her name. No one would care when she was gone.
The sound of feet pounding against the pavement snapped Leea from her thoughts, and she cast a glance over her shoulder to see Kurtis Yarren racing towards her. Kurtis may have been her closest friend, but he was the last person she wanted to see right now.
“Leea!” he called breathlessly, clearly too out-of-shape to be running. He slowed down as he neared her, bending forward to rest his hands on his knees. “Wait—”
Leea stared at him, her expression blank. What was she waiting for? Him to throw up his lunch? Because he looked like he was about to.
Kurt struggled to suck in a breath, straightening himself. “I came— to apologize,” he panted. “About what happened. I didn’t mean to— I didn’t think—”
A frown tugged at the corner of Leea's lips. "Kurt, stop. You don't have anything to be sorry for."

The boy stood on the front steps of the school, waiting patiently for the arrival of a vehicle he knew would never come.
Rain fell steadily, drumming against the ground and beating down on his sopping-wet hood. His classmates and peers rushed by him, clambering into the cars and trucks that pulled up for them, but Lyle's ride was no where to be seen. Still, he only smiled lightly, hugging his backpack close to protect it from the rain.
His father would come.
He promised.
The seconds stretched into minutes. The steady rain became a torrent, and the cold water leaked through the fabric of his jacket, chilling him to the bone. He shivered, tightening his grip on the bag, clinging to it as if it were the promise his father had given him. Surely, his dad would not lie to him. Yes, he had broken promises before, but— but those were never on purpose. He was just a busy man. Perhaps he was busy today, too. Perhaps something had come up. Perhaps…
Lyle straightened as a tarnished and rusty green pickup truck swung sloppily into the parking lot. It was a good thing the lot was nearly empty, so that there weren't many vehicles to be in danger of the driver's recklessness. The truck rolled to a stop in front of Lyle, who stepped forward immediately to meet the man he had so hopefully waited for.
He tugged open the stiff door, which groaned loudly on its hinges. The smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke smacked Lyle in the face, but his disgust never registered in his expression. No. His countenance was dominated by a wide, toothy grin, one that mirrored the joy in his little heart at the sight of the man he hadn't seen since the divorce weeks ago.
"Hi, Dad."

"Where did you get them?"
Michael's brow tightened at the absurdity of the question. "Pardon?"
Gianna tugged back his sleeve and ran her fingers along the scars marking his freckled arm. "Your scars. Who gave them to you?"
Michael swallowed. He wanted to lie. He wanted to tell her they were his own doing, from depression during his teenage years and not from the torture he'd endured for his disobedience to the "masters"— but she would never believe him. They were too abnormal. Too ugly. No human would ever do that to themselves, no matter how distraught. At least, Michael wouldn't, and Gianna knew that. He simply pulled his sleeve back down and shook his head. "I can't say."
"I thought we promised not to have any more secrets."
Michael let out a long sigh, his gaze dropping to the floor. "Okay, I suppose you're right. No more secrets. But first—" He gently pushed the hair back out of her face, tucking a few loose strands behind her ears. His fingertips brushed against her cheek, and he traced his thumb along the almost-invisible line along the edge of her jaw— the one she had clearly worked hard to conceal. "Tell me, love, where you got yours."

GENERAL STUFF
Name: Abellona "Bella" Sparrow
Age: (16-18) 17
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Lesbian
Appearance: (detailed, no links unless described well (i cannot access pinterest)) Long black hair that falls down her back in messy waves, with wispy bangs falling over her forehead. Her skin is pale and freckled in some places, and she has Heterochromia- her left eye is green, and her right eye is gray. She is very petite, and doesn't look to have much physical strength, but she's good for sneaking through small spaces without getting caught (though she can pack a punch if necessary)
Style: (day-to-day clothing) Dark boho. Flow-y black sundresses and lacy looking dusters, dark red bell-bottoms and old looking blouses, boots or sandals.
Personality: Quiet, doesn't let people in easily, sarcastic, a bit cold at first, tries to focus on her studies. However, if she likes you enough (or you're enough of a stubborn bastard to make her let you in), she is actually quite sweet and caring, and can be very loud and joking in more private settings.
Likes: Old books, records, music, her guitar, the night sky, coffee.
Dislikes: Jerks, absolute silence, fire.
Background: Grew up fairly average with her parents (who ignored her abilities), and her twin brother until she was sixteen., and came to Legacy High soon after.
Other: Plays guitar.

HERO STUFF
Dorm #: (it's up the top, i just chucked you in one) 2
Year: (they should be in either 4th year, 5th year or 6th year. 6th year is the highest, you graduate then) 5th year.
Hero Name: Motus Future
Powers: A very basic form of divination (sometimes gets hit with random glimpses of the future, and telekinesis.
Backstory: Her parents liked to ignore the fact that there was anything different with their daughter, leaving her and her twin brother, Orion, laughing as she moved things around the room, and knowing exactly which nights to be sneaking out. However, when they were sixteen, they had gotten invited to a party for the first time. Abellona had a premonition that that it would go wrong if they went, and begged her brother not to go, but he didn't listen. While she slept uneasily at home, the house the party was in had caught fire, and her brother was trapped inside. He didn't make it. She left home soon after the funeral, and enrolled in Legacy High so she could actually help people.
Suit: A black, tight suit with red details, and a red mask.

@PrettyLittlePyro

GENERAL STUFF
Name: Vanessa "Ness" Cardui
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Asexually biromantic
Appearance: Ness is pretty, in a strange way. She has delicate, elfish features and a beautiful, playful smile. Her eyes, golden as a summer sun, are always sparkling, full of mischief and amusement, but they can turn as cold as ice in an instant. She has short, chin length red hair, the color of blood more than anything else, which blends nicely with her golden skin. She has scars all over, not that she ever lets anyone see. She is about 5'5'', and has a slender, curvy body, slightly muscular from all her workouts and training. She has a tattoo of what looks like a monarch butterfly on her inner arm, just below her elbow.
Style: A short sleeve shirt, usually, and leggings. She always wears a hooded green jacket, embroidered with symbols and pictures and fancy lettering. She wears sneakers, too, so that she can move around easily. She is always dressed to run and move, her clothes loose to allow the flow of movement.
Personality: Vanessa is quick and cunning, and prefers to use her mind to get out of trouble, rather than brute force. She is very resourceful and clever, and can judge how much it will take to do something, like knock down a wall, for example, easily. She was trained to find weaknesses, being the assassin that she was raised to be. She is fiery and fun, and loves to hang around with others, but is very independent. She is terrible at following the rules, absolutely awful, unless someone is going to get hurt. She is wild and fun to be around, a bit like whirlwind. She has a kind heart, despite her job, and doesn't like to see anyone hurt. Her playful mask is just an act, however, as, deep down, she's just a broken girl looking for someone to actually see her for who she is.
Likes: Chocolate, playing with knives, dancing. She loves to dance. Browsing the internet, that's a huge thing she likes, acting normal, playing games, drawing, butterflies, the color red, getting hurt.
Dislikes: Assholes, being sane, having people condescend her, singing. She's really awful at singing. The color purple, for some reason. Not getting what she wants.
Background: Ness's backstory is kinda… touchy. She doesn't like to talk about it, and will get really prickly and mean if anyone tries to ask her about it, or mention it (which is really my way of saying that I have no idea what it is, but it's bad).
Other: She loves anything chocolate, and has a fascination with butterflies.

HERO STUFF
Dorm #: 2
Year: 6th
Hero Name: Silhouette
Powers: She calls it Nocturnality - seeing in the dark, higher senses, like an animal. She can move faster, is slightly stronger, and more sensitive to things like sight and sound than other humans are. She can blend into the environment, like a chameleon, fading into the background and staying so still that no one can see her. It makes her lighter, too, and more agile. She can manipulate the shadows, as well, using them to move through walls and make her steps silent, or just to create weapons.
Backstory: Her powers are not something she was born with, but, like I said earlier, she never talks about how she got them. She almost seems to be afraid of them sometimes, but never tells anyone why.
Suit: Think like this, but in red and black. It's a shirt and shorts, attached together. The shorts part is black, with gold at the waist and edges, and the top has black sleeves and a black part across the collarbone, with the rest of it being red. She has a black butterfly across her chest, a tribute to her name, Vanessa Cardui, which is really the scientific name of a butterfly. She has a black hood too, and black boots that go past her knees. She wears black gloves, and an armband on her right arm.

@Gentleman

GENERAL STUFF
Name:
Oskar Loxley
Age:
17
Gender:
Male
Sexuality:
Heterosexual, demiromantic (or… something like that)
Appearance:
He stands at around 6'0", a ropy boy, with gangling limbs. He's not quite scrawny, having just enough meat on him to make him seem fairly toned, but the fact remains that he's still quite a skinny guy. His skin is pale, both naturally and from lack of sunlight. He has pale sea-green eyes, and natural blond-white curly hair that's longer on top than it is on the sides, messy and unkempt. He keeps himself clean-shaven most of the time, and even when he doesn't, his stubble is so fair that it's hardly noticeable. He has very white, straight teeth, and a wide-grin.
Style:
Dressing nice is not a concern, but covering his skin is. Even on days when the weather is too warm, he often wears a hoodie, jacket, or long-sleeved shirt, as well as gloves and long pants. He wears converse shoes, and his socks are usually mismatched. He likes beanie hats as well, and usually wears those tugged loosely over his mop of messy hair. He wears square, thin-framed, translucent-green glasses.
Personality:
At first glance, Oskar comes across as a pretty laid-back fellow, despite being rather distant. He is friendly, but reserved. He keeps his distance on purpose, and though some people might think him to be detached or uninterested, the truth is that he is only afraid of himself. He cannot overcome the reality that his powers are more harmful than helpful, and he cannot imagine how such a horrible ability could ever be used for good. In short, he sees himself as a monster. He doesn't speak this often, though, and chooses to keep it to himself. He is very touch-starved, avoiding physical contact for fear of losing control of his powers and hurting someone. He desires intimacy and friendships, though he has long since accepted the fact that he will never have either due to his cursed power. He is clever, a bit mischievous at times, and has a dark sense and questionable sense of humor. He has a low-opinion of himself and humanity, and he is incredibly pessimistic in a chill way. Despite seeming like he's distracted half of the time, he's very observant. He's also very empathetic and more sensitive than he lets on like. Sometimes, he's easily embarrassed, but he usually tries his best to play it off if he can.
Likes: He likes cold winter days (so that he can dress very warm and enjoy some nice hot chocolate, of course), nighttime, EDM and rock music, concerts, comic-books, drawing on himself, neon colors when they're paired with black, and post-it notes.
Dislikes: He dislikes hot summer days, anything remotely embarrassing, two-faced people, feeling patronized, naps, being pressured, lying, and feeling alone (which is always).
Background:
Oskar is the firstborn of three children, and his parents were both drug-addicts. They neglected their children, and Oskar was exposed to some pretty horrible things at a young age, whilst his parents were doped up— along with a bunch of strangers. It wasn't until his youngest sibling— his little sister— got a hold of some of his parents' drugs, consumed them, and died that social services got the remaining two children (Oskar and his brother, ages 7 and 5 respectively) out of the home. The brothers spent about four years in foster care before being adopted. Oskar's powers became active at the age of around fourteen, and he accidentally hurt his brother with them one day. His brother was sent to the hospital and nearly died of shock. Though everything turned out okay in the end, Oskar has not forgotten the incident and will not be forgiving himself anytime soon. He doesn't talk about the ordeal to anyone outside of family and cries every time he thinks about it too much.
Other: He's pretty agile. Good with knives and hand-to-hand. He likes blow-darts as a weapon, but not the idea of using them to kill people. Non-lethal, tranquilizer poison darts are his favorite. He has a better aim with a blow-dart gun than an actual gun, and has a large blow-dart gun that doubles as a Bo staff.

HERO STUFF
Dorm #:
1
Year:
5th year
Hero Name:
Axon
Powers:
He has the ability to manipulate the senses of others by touching them. I.e., he can influence their nerves and cause them to feel (or, perhaps, not to feel) extreme pain. The sound of a pin dropping a mile away can suddenly become a booming, eardrum-bursting noise; the lightest touch can feel like a sword ripping through you. He can cause people to go into shock if he's not careful. He can only affect people by touching them, but he can affect them for several minutes after touching. His control wears off after about seven minutes. Overusing his powers can be draining to himself, and he has little control over it so he usually wears gloves and does not touch people. He cannot use his powers on himself so he still feels pain normally regardless.
Backstory:
See background above
Suit:
A jet-black suit, loose enough for easy movement but tight enough to keep the excess fabric from getting in his way. It consists of combat pants, combat boots, and a long sleeve black shirt with a collar that can be pulled up over the lower-half of his face like a mask and a hood that can be pulled up over his head. He has lots of pockets, as well as a belt for him to carry any utilities that he deems fit. (He hopes to use as many gadgets and/or non-lethal weapons as possible if he becomes a hero, in order to keep the use of his actual powers at a minimum.) The only colors breaking the monotony of the jet-black suit would be the many silver buckles and clips that he has, also to allowing him to carry more.
