As Lucy approached the "stage" (more like an elevated area of the wooden floor) she waited for further instruction. She flipped through her book of hymns, one of the books she had been carrying during her… interaction with Agnes.

Lucy tried to catch Agnes' eye, to make eye contact, but she seemed to be distracted. So was Lucy, apparently, because she didn't realize when the hymn had started.

Lucy quickly caught up with the song, but still kept her eyes on Agnes. Curiously, thoughtfully, possibly longingly. She was surprised she hadn't seen her in the chapel before. She planned on trying to talk to her again after the service.

Agnes looked at the girl a little confused 'why is she looking at me like that it's very odd im not sure i like it…' she was lost in thought he hadn't known that she still hasn't looked away from the girl when she came back to her senses she turned right back around to the window

Agnes looked back to the window, after granting Lucy a small amount of attention. She realized embarrassedly that it was considered intimidating to stare. She continued with the hymn and, soon, the service was over. It felt faster, but in a way dauntingly slow.

Lucy quickly scurried out of the service, searching for the girl she'd seen. Nowhere. After a panicked minute, though, she spotted her. "Ag- Agnes!" She prided herself in remembering her name, even if she hesitated.

(sorry this took so long hh) "Hi!" Lucy said. She surprised herself with her own enthusiasm to see a girl she'd known for a bit more than thirty minutes. She then realized she didn't know what she was going to say, so she fidgeted and waited for something to come to her. "So… uh, I-" 'Maybe I should have had something prepared to say.'

(It's okay!)

Agnes rubbed her arm as she stood in front of this girl she did say mutch but she was never really good withe people especially now, this girl was very….pretty and she's never said that about anyone before. Her attention was drawn back to Lucy when she started to talk it didn't take a genius to she she was extremely uncomfortable and shy she didn't even know she was shy until this point in her life

Lucy stood for a moment, smiling stupidly. "Um… see you next time?" Lucy asked. She smiled genuinely, but omitted the handshake or anything involving touch. Names might've been an issue for her, but she knew at least that she was good at remembering other's words and personalities. Lucy rocked on her heels, hands behind her back. Gazing at Agnes.

Lucy's complexion became visibly red. "I…" Best to be honest, I guess? 'I just wanted to see you,'Nah. "Oh, I… forgot what I was going to say! Ha!" Close to what she was going to say? Maybe. Maybe she did forget, heck, she didn't know herself. "It's… not that I don't want to talk to you."

Lucy blinked. "I-I know! I-… Sorry." She said vaguely. She could have said a lot more, but thought them to be.. embarrassing, more anxiety-inducing to say or think about than being in the situation already was. "I'm gonna go bye!" She exclaimed a bit louder than she meant to, then turned and started to walk away stiffly, quickly.

Lucy quickly exited through the back door, closing it behind her. She breathed, composing herself. "That was really dumb." She mumbled, her arms crossed uncomfortably. She was smiling anyway, but she had no idea why. Completely oblivious.

Lucy strode through the small town confidently, still burning with shame on the inside. She passed the tavern she'd be working at later in the evening. She made her way back to her home, and upon closing her door she sighed. "Suppose I'll be thinking about her for the rest of the day," She mumbled to herself. Tired of looking formal for church, she ran her fingers through her hair, purposefully messing with it. A small way to separate herself from there, she thought.
