"I've been out here alone quite often. I come here to gather water for my family, and nothing ever happens. I think I'll be alright," she assured him. "Really, I understand that it could be dangerous, but I need to bring water to my family, so I do just that. There's no need to worry, really."
Ridge huffed, "you're lucky I guess.. I could give you a ride home if you want," he offered
"It's okay, really." She shook his head in response to the offer. "I still need to get the water, and you're probably in a hurry. I appreciate your offer, but I wouldn't want to bother you more than I already have. I appreciate your offer, though. Despite how things started, you seem pretty nice." She gave him a small smile as she finished speaking.
He shrugged and mounted his horse, "I'll see you," he said to her, and rode off. She's pretty enough to me a noble.. he grinned as an idea came into his head
After she watched him leave, she went back to what she was doing without much of a second thought. She thought that the interaction was a bit strange, but she truly didn't think much of it as she went to get some water for her family. She still hadn't realized that she ran into the prince just then, but she found the event interesting nonetheless.
Ridge went back to the castle and sent his guards out. They got every bit of Intel on her as they could have, even the word that she was going to be sold as a concubine. After hearing the news ridge's plan was perfect.
Violet didn't know about anything, but she returned home to her family after a while. Her thoughts remained on the events of that day, but she didn't tell her family about it. She interacted with quite a few people despite being an introvert, but she was close to many in her village since she tried her best to help them. Whoever she met that day was certainly from out of town, but she had no idea that he was a prince.
Days later he rode out the the place he had met Violet, "she can't refuse me, right? I'm the prince after all, she can have all the money she wants for her family." He smirked thinking about it. He rode a long the dirt path and waited, "she should be here, my future bride."
It wasn't long before Violet came down the path to see Ridge again. She was surprised that he was down the same path, but she decided that she was going to talk to him again. Whether he wanted something or was simply in the area again, she figured that talking to him was a good idea.
"I wasn't expecting to see you here. Did you want something?" she asked softly. "Usually people don't come to the area."
He grinned when he saw her. Ridge hopped off of his horse and rushed to her. "I heard you were going to be sold as a concubine," he spoke, getting straight to the point. "I have a solution for you. My family is going to have me marry an ugly witch, that's why we're going to fake you as a noble and you'll marry me instead. It won't be real or anything, but I need it." He rubbed his chin and nodded, "what do you say."
The proposal was certainly an interesting one, but after a moment, Violet nodded in response. With what knowledge she had, it was the best thing that she could do. If she was going to be separated from her family and the village regardless of her choice, it was the best solution. Besides, rumors had begun to spread, and despite treating everyone with nothing but kindness, the village had grown slightly bothered by her.
"It's fine," she responded. "It's best for both of us."
With a giant smile he embraced her, "great! You won't be trapped at the castle or anything, but if you leave try to be secret, and as the prince, I'll give you plenty of money so you can pay for your family."
She was a bit surprised by the embrace, but she returned it after a moment. She wasn't used to being incredibly close to other people like that, but it was a nice feeling, even if the one embracing her was a stranger. She figured out that he was a prince, but that didn't change her opinion on him. She always thought that he wasn't a bad person, just bothered by her actions when they met, and she was sure that they would get along.
"Thank you for letting me know, and thank you for everything, really," she responded. "I can finally give them happy lives, and I hope to make you happy, too. Even if it's not real, I want to make you as happy as I can."
"be here again in one week, I should have everything ready for you to come back to the castle with me." He told her, "should I give you a ride back to town?"

In just one week, Violet would be leaving her village to go with the prince, and while she was fine with the idea, it was still interesting to her. However, she was sure that she would be happy, so she wouldn't spend the week worrying about much. As for the question she was asked, she nodded in response. She didn't have any issues with him taking her back to town.
"That's fine," she responded softly.
