He busted out laughing again upon seeing her flustered and going red. "You just did!" he howled. Cackling, he said slyly, "And just because you're mignon et drôle doesn't mean I'll let you deny it."
The creature merely looked between them, tilting her head and observing. They continued walking as they talked, District 6 eventually disappearing from sight.
(SCREAMS HE CALLED HER CUTE ANF FUNNY!)
He was breathing heavily in and out, he put a hand on his face before turning back to connor, trying to scoot away. He went and he grabbed connor by the back of his shirt, and he dragged him towards the gate, connor finally remembered to use his ability but due to the probable concussion that evan gave him, evan forced his way through connors ability all the way to the entrance and threw him out,
"DON'T COME BACK YOU SICK FREAK!" Connor was litterally shaking, "you better be greatful im smart enough not to hurt you badly, because I want too. If you even try to give away any information about the rebellion, i can and will come back for you."
He turned to leave, and connor tched getting up and connor threw a punch at the back of evans head. Evans stumbled forward, and connor smirked before Evan turned and pelted Connor across the face. His wrist getting coated slightly in connors blood, only because he gave connor a bloody nose.
He stormed all the way back to where everyone was, still slightly clenching his fists.
He walked over to Noel. "are you okay noel?"
Everyone who was in the cafeteria was now making glances in their direction and murmuring amongst themselves. Charlie gave up after Evan screamed at Connor for the last time, overwhelmed by the power of his voice. When Evan brought him to the prison gates, Danni and the other guards followed close behind, making sure that Connor didn't retaliate when he recovered and shutting the gates behind them. They all knew of Connor's disgusting advances toward Noel, and immediately knew it must have happened once again.
Back inside, a small crowd had gathered around Alister and Noel, who still clung to her brother. The rebels were asking what exactly had happened, offering reassurance, and/or expressing their anger. Some of them also asked who Alister was since they weren't familiar with him. He only told them briefly who he was, trying to wave them off and let them go back to their business. It didn't help that a purple passionflower grew at the back of Alister's head, causing him to flush with embarrassment and worry for Evan. Only when Noel spoke up and dismiss them did the crowd disperse, and it was just then that Evan entered.
She smiled at him gratefully. "I'm better, at least. Now that he's gone."
Alister smiled at him as well. "You took care of him?"

(SJSJSDJK hahahahah I'm so proud of myself for bringing it back-)

"mignon rt drole?! What the hell does that evan mean?!" Haha evan. "I did NOT say uou- you know what i mean! I didn't say it and you can't prove that i said it!' she flusteredly screamed at him only getting redder as she turned her face away from Malachi crossing her arms.
Evan smiled back at him, and then at Noel, giving her gentle headpats with his non bloodied hand.
"yeah. I did. He won't come back." It's funny because that phrase is very like concerning and threating but evans just me sunshine and smiles as he says it.
"I'm just glad to finally be rid of him."
Trent just had his jaw wide open quickly rushing over to Noel.
"Noel are you okay? Are you hurt? Do I need to go beat him up?"
He was genuinely worried even though evan took care of it all.
Matteo was currently hidding under the table eating his mashed potatoes.
"mignon rt drole?! What the hell does that evan mean?!" Haha evan. "I did NOT say uou- you know what i mean! I didn't say it and you can't prove that i said it!' she flusteredly screamed at him only getting redder as she turned her face away from Malachi crossing her arms.
He let her demand go unanswered, only smiling devilishly. Then he gestured to the creature. “Well, I have a witness.”
The sphinx blinked at them. Arden, 1:38 pm. Quote: “Just because you’re pretty doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want.” Unquote.
She nodded, seeming to finally relax and sighing with relief. Chuckling a little at the head pats, she said, "That's good." She glanced over to Trent. "I'm not hurt, but I'm not sure if I'm… okay. I just want to forget this ever happened. But I appreciate your concern." Though her voice was calm, her eyes looked dulled and shaken. She still clung to her brother, whose eyes drifted between Noel and Evan. There was a slight tinge of pink to his cheeks.
"T-that was really cool, um, h-how you kicked him in the head," Alister said shyly. "And your wounds didn't hurt?"

She immediately turned to look at The spinx in alarm, "Wha- But- how could you take his side?!"she got a huge high pitch voice crack, her face bright red, it was a wonder she wasnt steaming.
Malachi barked with laughter, as it had seemed to him that what followed after he spoke was only a moment of silence before Arden shouted at the sphinx. He knew she was outnumbered, and it was entertaining him greatly.
She tilted her head at Arden, confused. But that is what you said, is it not? Are you so in denial that what is known fact is mere opinion to you?
Grinning helplessly, Malachi gave her another head pat. “Ohh, the chat noir seems more like a chat rouge now. You’re so adorable when you’re flustered, but you don’t need to get too worked up about this, yeah?”
(IM DYING HE SAID IT IN A LANGUAGE SHE COULD UNDERSTAND)
MAN DOWN MAN DOWN!!!
She was barely okay at the headpats, but when he called her cute, sorry, adorable when flustered she litterally overheated and fainted on the spot into a red flustered mush puddle.
Malachi better have quick reaction time because she falling.
She nodded, seeming to finally relax and sighing with relief. Chuckling a little at the head pats, she said, "That's good." She glanced over to Trent. "I'm not hurt, but I'm not sure if I'm… okay. Evan blushed a little bit as well, putting a hand on his neck.
"i mean it doesn't really matter if they hurt or not, in the moment all that mattered was getting him away from noel." He smiled shyly at Alister.
"thanks though..i think your cool too."
Trent was worried at the look he saw in noels eyes and looked at Alister.
"I know i don't have to say this but, just take care of her okay? I don't know if I have much to offer in this department." He rubbed his neck, looking away.
Matteo be vining.
Fun fact: Malachi does not have a quick reaction time, at least at times like these. When he realized she was going to fall, it was too late. He tried to catch her, but he was too slow and his hands slipped. His helpless grin turned into a wide, very concerned and not at all happy smile. When she landed on the ground, he let the smile drop while he picked up her small body in his arms.
“Aww,” he said in dismay, “I broke her.”
(And it was at this moment when he knew- he f*cked up)
(Quin: great job- i mean I'm not here-)
Alister nodded to both of them, rubbing Noel's back when his eyes grew wide and his blush intensified. "W-wait, you think I'm cool? Oh, um, I… uh, thanks."
A hint of a smile crossed Noel's face as she listened. August reached over from across the table and took her hand in reassurance. Noel nodded to her, and August let go, looking over the others.
"Well, if you guys are done blushing and complimenting each other, we think we found Malachi," she said.
He blushed even more, nodding and smiling shyly at Alister.
"y-yeah, i do."
He blushed even more in embarrassment at augusts comment.
"you know where he is? How?"
Trent turned as well looking at August.
Matteo had crawled out from under the table, leaving the plate there and going over to tug on Alisters sleeve.
"Who's Malachi's?"
For a moment Alister was transfixed by Evan’s smile until August caught his attention. He lowered his gaze in embarrassment, then felt the tug on his sleeve. He ruffled Matteo’s hair, saying, “He’s the leader of this rebellion. He’s gone missing.”
Emery spoke up, keeping their gaze on the holographic screen. “I hacked into the experimentation labs’ records to see if I could find anything. Apparently two human subjects escaped the premises at around 3:15 in the afternoon.”
“That was around the time we got back to the ‘7 rebels headquarters.” August expression was focused; you could see the gears turning in her head.
“Apparently the alien guard who had attempted to kill one of the humans was found dead, and the humans no where in sight,” Emery continued.
“But how can we be sure one of them is Malachi?” Charlie leaned forward.
“Well, we know that the aliens here want him dead. The girl we saw before he disappeared was most likely working for them. She may have some sort of teleportation power that took them both to the experimentation labs,” August reasoned.
“Hmm,” Emery stared at the screen. “The names of the humans seem to be censored. Let me see if I can mess with the settings a bit…”
Their fingers flew across the screen, swiping and tapping. Another screen projected from the electronic ball, and Emery switched between them, like they were placing the record in another program.
“This might take several minutes or so…” they murmured after a moment.
“We just need to make sure that it’s him, and then we’ll need to see if we can find out where he went next,” August said.

The creature chirped at him, seeming to deny his statement. Malachi shrugged. He turned back to Arden and muttered, “Come on, chat noir, we have to get going.”
He shook her to see if she would revive.
The kitten got up and yawned, stretching before moving over onto Kali, and settling on her. Well until she was shaked then there were many meows in protest as he clung onto Kalis clothes with his claws.
He gave a little hiss to Malachi

"oh…that's bad," he tried to listen in to what they were talking about, moving to hold onto Alisters hand with his baby hands.
Evan was listening intently the whole time, more of a serious but not angry expression on his face.
"That's the closest we've gotten yet." He thought for a moment, "okay let's just hypothetically say one of the humans is Malachi, where would malachi go from the experimentations lab? Like whats closest to there, and what would someone maybe pass through to get here?" I don't know how much senAe that makes but i tried ;-; anyway. "Like thinking if what malachi might do."
Trent nodded along with what he was saying.
