Bridge’s eyes widened. He had gotten flustered at the other man, which meant he might be gay. And his name was max.
Bridge’s eyes widened. He had gotten flustered at the other man, which meant he might be gay. And his name was max.
Max quickly wrote down his name, turning around to make the drink, only to hear another comment. "Yep, I'd definitely fuck that ass."
Max's face got even redder, quickly making the drink before turning around and handing the man the drink. "H-Here you go…"
"Can I also have your number? I would love to go on a date with you and get to know you better." The man still had that smile on his face, the one that would probably make anyone melt or throw themselves at his feet.
Max didn't object, quickly writing down a number on a piece of paper and handing it to the man. "There you go."
Definitely gay. Bridge decided, sitting up. For some reason he god bad vibes from the man. Maybe if I actually order something, Max’ll talk to me…but I don’t have any money! Bridge thought to himself as the man left.
Max chuckled softly to himself after the man left, he had given the man a number which led to the Rejection Hotline which told the person that they have been rejected (It's a real thing). He glanced at the clock to see how much longer he had to be here, sighing in relief when he realized he didn't have to be here for much longer. Only five more minutes.
Bridge spied a five dollar bill on the floor and hastily snatched it up - the other man must have dropped it. He nervously stood. “Um, can I get a, uh, hot chocolate please?” He stuttered nervously.
Max glanced at the man and smiled brightly at him, nodding in reply before picking up a cup. "Name?"
Bridge smiled back a little. “Um, my name is Bridge.”
"Cool name," Max complimented, turning around again to make Bridge's drink.
"T-thanks…" Bridge stuttered nervously. Max was really pretty.
"You're welcome," Max said after he handed Bridge his drink, still smiling and at him.
"Okay," Bridge responded stupidly, sitting down again a little closer to where Max worked.
Max couldn't help but smile a bit, not caring that Bridge was sitting closer to where he was now.
Bridge was still nervous and wary, but a little less so now that he'd actually made an interaction. Finishing his hot chocolate, he looked down at his hands to see a small golden shine coming from them. Not now…god, not now. Control your gosh dang emotions.
(Sorry about that!)
Max glanced at the clock, almost instantly turning around and walking into the Employee's Only room. His shift was finally over and he could go home.
Oh. Okay. Shucks, Bridge thought to himself, standing without knowing why. “Wait!” He squeaked out, a glimmer of gold dripping off his hand.
Max had been about to step into the room when the other boy talked, making him turn around and glance at him. "Yes?"
Bridge blushed, quickly feeding the golden puddy back into his hand, then looking up. "Um…uh…canIhaveyournumber?" He asked, looking away nervously.
"Hm?" Max asked, taking a moment to understand what he had said. "Oh–um–sure."
"Sorry," Bridge immediately apologized without really knowing what it was for. "It's just - never mind. You can just write it down somewhere."
"It's fine," Max quickly replied, going over to the counter and writing down his actual number. The other didn't look like he was looking for a hookup or one-night stand, unlike the one before.
"T-thank you," Bridge stuttered as he took the paper, catching a golden drip of nervousness just before it fell.
"You're welcome." Max smiled brightly at him, a small smile staying on his lips after the big smile disappeared.
Aw shoot dxghjiou
"W-well, um, you were leaving…" Bridge sighed and stuttered, taking a couple steps backward.
"Yea, it's because my shift's over…" Max replied, wondering why Bridge was so nervous around him. Just how intimidating was he?
"Oh. Okay. Sorry." He looked around, not meeting Max's eye. Hecc you're bad at talking to people in general let alone a pretty person!!
