Mary's mouth went into an O. "My flirting skills, or my flirting?" She asked with a smirk.
Mary's mouth went into an O. "My flirting skills, or my flirting?" She asked with a smirk.
"Both." Celeste leaned forward, putting her head in her hand.
"Perfect." Mary purred, mirroring the action with her own body.
"I'm glad we can agree on that." Even though Mary was on the bed and Celeste was on the floor, they were easily eye level to each other. With them both leaning towards each other, they were no more than a foot apart.
Mary, why are you flirting with a GODDESS! YOU'RE AN IDIOT, YOU FLAMING HOMO! Mary's mind screamed at her, which she ignored in favor of looking at Celeste.
"You know," Celeste said, smiling, "You're quite the bold one, aren't you?" She tilted her head towards Mary.
"I have been told that before, yes." She smirked, her eyes crinkling in humor. Her mind was, still, screaming at her, but she just ignored it.
"I find it endearing," Celeste said, moving closer. She gave a sweet smile.
"I'm glad you do because I'm going to be here for a while." She laughed softly.
"That's true," Celeste said. Finally, she was right next to Mary, shoulders touching.
"Is there anything else you want to know about me?" Mary asked, an eyebrow raised.
"There are a few," Celeste noted.
"Like what kind of food you like."
"Anything, I like any food, especially sweets." Mary looked like she was thinking about sweets. "We didn't have a lot of sweet things in the village."
"Especially now that you're not there," Celeste said with a smirk.
Mary was delighted. "Will you teach me how to bake?"
"I see no reason not to," Celeste grinned at Mary's delight. She would enjoy trying to bake with Mary; it would be interesting, to say the least.
Mary gave a wide smile, looking like a kid in a candy store. "That would be amazing! The old baker used to make cookies before sweets were, for some reason, outlawed in the town."
Celeste could help but laugh sweetly at Mary's reaction.
"Well, we'll just have to make lots then."
Mary's eyes went wide. "We will?" She asked, a bit childish, she was exited, okay.
Celeste nodded.
"We will." She couldn't help but put an arm around Mary's back; she was just so adorable when she got like this.
Mary didn't get a lot of physical contact, so she leaned into it with a smile. "I can't wait." She breathed.
Celeste smiled when Mary leaned into her.
"You're too adorable," she said quietly.
"I think you need to go look into a mirror and repeat those words." Mary retorted.
"Ah, but then they wouldn't be half as true," Celeste countered. She couldn't help but flirt with Mary; she seemed like a good person, and she was pretty dang cute.
"Well then you'd be lying to yourself and we know that lying is a bad thing." She flirted right back.
