(So sorry I vanished, schoolwork's kicking my butt rn!
Also, sorry for any confusion, but this is actually Ram's plan ^^ I know there's a lot of characters introduced here all at once, so sorry if it's hard to keep track of!)

(That's okay! Also I'll get to know the characters slowly.)
(I'm so sorry, but I'm going to continue to be spotty, right now I have two jobs, plus school plus caring for my rescue dog, plus counselling TwT I promise I'll keep up with you as much as possible! Sorry if my replies are shorter than normal as well :/
But no worries! ^^ if you could rewrite it or edit it so it's correct, that would be awesome! <3)
(Sure. Also don't worry about being gone often, I get how busy life can be. I have to do school and take care of my four younger siblings at home so there are likely going to be times when I'll be spotty as well.)
(Thanks for understanding <3 I'm hoping to be more frequent now I've actually gotten my life sorted out a little xD hope you've been doing well! Lemme go reply really quick so we can get back into this xDD)
"It's not my plan," Tonakee said plainly. "It's Ram's, Mehri isn't the one who came up with the idea, he is. She isn't the one in charge and can't technically tell us whether or not to do it. And for me personally? I think that it could work, and if Mehri doesn't agree she can take it up with me."
Carson shifted uncomfortably. "Fair," he muttered, looking down. "But I'm doing whatever Mehri says. She's never made a wrong choice before."
He frowned and shook his head. "We need to ask her. I'll do it tonight when I see her. If you see Ram or Osric, ask them if we can meet up sometime to talk about it tomorrow. I'll let you know what Mehri says."
He turned to leave, but paused. "Let's be careful," he said in a dropped tone. "I don't want to lose anybody else."
Tonakee gave one of her rare smiles. Something that had reassurance, and understanding in it. "I will," she said. "And do me a favor, have a little more trust in yourself. Sometimes it's okay to question something. We can't always be right, no one is. At the same time no one is always wrong. Keep that in mind. I'll ask Osric and Ram, you talk with Mehri. And like I said if she doesn't agree, she can take it up with me."
Carson managed a weak smile in return, reaching out and touching Tonakee's shoulder in a gesture he hoped expressed how grateful he was for the support.
"Tomorrow then," he said softly, then left as silently as he'd come.
(Time skip to then? ^^)
(That works for me!)
Tonakee moved around the building in her normal quiet way. She wasn't really trying to hide from anyone, but she prefered to be alone mostly. She'd found Ram and talked with him already. But she hadn't talked with Osric yet. She also hadn't been approached by Mehri yet. So either she was avoiding Tonakee, or she agreed with the plan. That or she just hadn't made her way to Tonakee yet. She hoped that Mehri agreed. It was one of those few hopes she still held onto, and she wasn't about to let someone who acted like the leader tell her no. She missed her brother, and wondered if he was okay.
The last thing she remembered of him, were the words, "I'll come back to you. I promise." Then he shoved her out the window. Going back into the building to try and stall the person that had attacked.
Her fingers laced the metal along the handle of one of her daggers, and a sad look crossed her face. She missed a lot of things from home. The feeling of the soft grass in early spring, the warm breezes of midsummer, the birds singing late autumn, and the quiet of the cold winters. She'd lived in the middle of a big forest, where she and her brother would spend most of the time. He'd made them a little shelter from big stones and sticks with the help of their big clydesdale horse.
The sad look on her face transfered over to a sad smile as she thought of her brother always doing something weird to cheer her up, or thinking of how much more clumsy he was than her. Even though he could see and she couldn't. When they got out of here she was intent on finding her brother again. To get one more hug, and hear his voice again.
