She shifted to the side and checked.

His back was healing slowly.

"It looks so much better," she remarked softly.

"T-Thanks…"

She giggled. "Welcome?"

Conner took out his wand to see if it was ok.

"Are you feeling alright?" she asked kindly.

"Yeah. But I chipped my wand."

"Oh!" she cried. "Where? When?"

"When I was shoved to the ground and the base."

"Oh," she said softly. "Are you going to keep using it?"

"I have no idea…"

"You shouldn't," she stated firmly.

"I know…"

"Then what are you going to do?"

"Get a new one?"

"You can't just get a new wand in the middle of the school year… Maybe Professor McGonagall could fix it."

"…I guess…"

"Want to make up your mind?" she asked, arching an eyebrow.

"Let's just fix it."

"Alright. We should find Professor McGonagall. She'll know what to do." Jamie slid off the couch.

He hets up slowly and follows

"Is your back good?"

"Yeah. Better than this morning"

"Alright, c'mon. Let's go."
