Caspian had met Dorian's so called roommate, at least that's what she had introduced herself as. And him being a sweet little dumb baby when it came to things such as relationships and reading cues, hadn't picked up on the fact that they were dating. So… He nods and smiles, "Of course. I could go with some coffee." He chuckles and hums quietly, releasing his friend from his gentle hug. "I'll pay tonight." That was his usual sentence. It had just… always ended up in Caspian paying. He offered one of his goofy smiles, "Classes are good. Tiring, but good!" He chuckles warmly. That was Caspian, always laughing and smiling.
"Fair enough. I wasn't able to attend today, too busy being beautiful and all." he said, looking to the corners of the room, feeling the need to escape. "I'll take an Earl Gray Imperial tea with some sugar and a splash of almond milk, I'm feeling simple today." usually his orders were miles long, he was just that vain, but today he didn't feel like making Caspian go broke on his behalf.
He chuckles quietly into his hand, "Aren't you always though?" He tilts his head at his friend, a sweet smile on his lips. He nods a little bit, his eyes softening a little when he heard the order. It was… different to say the least, but maybe he just wasn't in the mood for something extravagant like always. He orders his usual drink, a simple chai tea two pumps caramel, two pumps vanilla. Once the drinks were paid for, they went to their usual spot, and Caspian hummed in content. "How are you?" He asks once they were settled into the booth, his eyes scanning over his friend… Friend. Just… just friend.
"Oh, dear, it takes effort to be this sexy every day. No, no, I'm too much for this world, sometimes I must retreat back into the shados to let all the cishet girls take the spotlight." he shrugged. "Not that I have anything against them, darling, it's just that they can't compare is all." he sighed at his… it took a lot of effort to say friend, but he managed in the end. When he sat down, he didn't exactly expect his question of "how are you" to be reciprocated, especially with how he normally answered that question with complete honesty. "Oh, fine." he said meekly, kicking a leg up on the table. "Same as always."
He was giggling at this point. He always loved being called darling or dear, any pet name really. He really was just a sweetheart, no doubt about it. He hummed and smiled a little bit, "They really can't." He agreed, his ocean eyes bright, however when he noticed the change of attitude he knew something was wrong. His eyes soften and he smiles, gently patting his leg since that was the closest thing to him as he sat down on the opposite side of Dorian. Caspian knew something was wrong, something was bothering his close friend. His eyes were gentle as he looked over his friend. The subtle make up, the sudden meek reply. "Is something on your mind?" He asks quietly. "Did something happen with your roommate?" He tilts his head a little bit. Caspian, such a sweet and determined person. He wanted to help any way he could. He was so gentle and warm, like the sun in the spring. He had no idea that the woman Dorian called his roommate was also his girlfriend. Dorian had never told him, and quite frankly if he had known, Caspian would have a breakdown on the spot. Caspian had loved Dorian for god knows how long… but… he never acted since he was always such a coward when it came to feelings.
"Oh, she's a total bitch as always, but then again, so am I." he chuckled, trying to seem normal. He had to be normal, if only for the sake of Cas. He sipped his tea slowly, it wasn't nearly sugary enough for him for he took eight sugar packets and stirred them in, leaning back against the side of the booth. "Hey, do you want to dye your hair with me tonight? I'm getting a bit tired of this red, a bit too… eh. I was thinking I could just go back to my normal blonde, but if you want to do something crazy with your hair I say go for it, the shop's just on the way and I only need to get a color removal kit."
Caspian nods slowly, he didn't want to push it too far and upset Dorian. He took a sip of his drink, letting the warm liquid ease him a little more. He paused and looked up at the other, a small smile on his lips. Oddly enough, he had never dyed his hair. It had streaks of red in it, and of course his normal blonde, but that was because he was a strawberry blonde. "I've… never actually dyed my hair." He chuckles a little, playing with his ponytail mindlessly. "I just… never had the time or thought a color would look good on me. But I'm totally up for helping you dye yours or remove the color." He smiled softly, his eyes gentle as he gazes at his friend. "So it's totally up to you."
Dorian nodded, not wanting to push Caspian in a position he didn't want to be in. "I can get that. I'll probably just keep this, it's sexy as hell and I do not have the energy to deal with the hassle of doing my hair tonight." he said, readjusting his purse over his shoulder. "But hey, if you ever want to do yours, I am studying to be a professional beautician. I'm pretty good already, if I do say so myself." he smiled a smile full of sharp teeth. The procedure to make them as sharp as they were cost hundreds, but fortunately he had rich parents who let him do as he pleased with their money. They already had one successful heir, they didn't need another unless as a spare.
Caspian chuckles quietly as he takes another sip of his drink. "You do look rather stunning with red hair, complements your appearance." He hummed, tilting his head a little at the other as he spoke. He smiled and nods, "I'll definitely keep that in mind." He murmured softly. "Who knows, maybe one day I'll let you dye my hair." He shrugged, "I need to cut it at some point though…" He frowned slightly. "I've just never had the time." He also liked having his hair on the longer side. There was a lot you could do with long hair. He shook his head and took another sip. Caspian came from a rather poor family, not that he ever mentioned that to anyone. He was going to college purely based off the fact that he was poor, and had gotten full ride scholarships. "What do you want to do tonight?" He asks cheerfully, taking the final sip of his drink.
"I could cut it tonight? Might be fun." he offered, wrapping a loose arm around Caspian's shoulder in hopes that it would startle a reaction out of the man. He always loved to mess with Cas, it was a game for him really, and he used this game to his advantage constantly. It wasn't that he wanted to hurt Caspian, only get things from him he couldn't get from anyone else.
He hummed and shrugged, "Maybe…" In reality, he really liked his hair. He was hesitant about cutting it really, since he figured it was one of his only good… well anything. He was very mild compared to the people he hung out. He startles a little when the other wrapped his arms around his shoulder, since it had jolted him out of his thoughts. His ears turned a soft pink and he hummed, thumbing at his cup. Caspian felt his heart throb slightly, and he shoved the feeling down. They were friends, besides… he highly doubted that Dorian saw him as anything more than friends with the occasional benefits.
"Well, that's better than a flat no. So, do you think we should get outta here, or are you still busy with your drink?" he asked, noticing how the sun had gone down significantly since they got here. "We can stay longer if you want." his eyes softened. He knew that Caspian could stay here for hours with him, talking about nothing in particular.
He giggles softly, as much as he wanted to stay here, there was a comfort in his home, plus his dog was probably anxious for him to come back. "I trust you with my hair, no worries. And why don't we head back to the house? It's getting dark anyways." He laughed before standing. He had already finished his drink, so oh well. He hummed and offered his hand to Dorian, "Shall we go then?" He smiled again, this one radiating the warmth of the sun. "We can do whatever you want once we get back to the house."
"Whatever I want, eh? Well, that should prove to be very exciting. At least, in your direction." he said suggestively, because he was so close, so close, to getting what he wanted, he just needed to seal the deal. He downed his drink and gave a small "ah!" sound, leaning into Caspian.
His ears turn a soft pink and he chuckles, nodding a little. "Excited to see what you have planned." He replies, taking his hand gently and pulling them out of the cafe. He hummed as he guides the other out of the cafe, waving to the manager before grabbing his keys from his pocket. "Anything you wanna pick up before we head back to the house? Alcohol? Snacks? A movie?" He asks curiously, glancing at Dorian.
(I am v invested in this rp)
"Pick up a movie? You know I can just give you my Netflix password, right?" he asked, chuckling some and forgetting to remember that he could actually hurt people's feelings. "But yeah, something to drink would be great. God, my hands are shaking, yeah. Calm the nerves. I'll pay, don't worry." he groaned.
He hummed and shrugged, "Granted, granted. I have netflix, just figured we could rent something… then again I have prime." He snickers before humming and letting the other into his car, tossing him a blanket. "I'll pay for the drinks, don't worry about it. It was this thing that Caspian did. No matter how much he was struggling financially, he always offered to pay. No one, of course, knew about his financial situation. He never told anyone. He had a nice little home that was so quaint and neat that it would come as a surprise to learn that he was poor.
"No, I want to pay. You know how I like to flaunt, and people are probably going to start assuming you're paying me off. You know, like a sugar- ahem. That was rude, that was rude. I'm sorry. You can pay if you really want to, but like, I can always take care of things if you want." he said, shaking his head.
He giggles quietly and shook his head. "I like spoiling my friends." He replies kindly, although he probably wouldn't get a drink for himself… if he remembered correctly he still had some whisky left back at home. He starts up the car and the radio turns off, playing soft chill vibes. He had a wide interest in music, so no one really knew what would play next on his playlist. Punk? Classical? Pop? No one knew. "So I'll pay." He grins at Dorian before pulling out of the parking lot and into the street.
"Aww, you're too sweet. Calling me a friend," when all I do is exploit your good nature and use you for my own ends, he didn't say. "when I cause so many problems. I do it for fun, but still. It's probably not good." he shrugged, after getting in the car. "But really, you'll go broke one of these days."
He chuckles quietly, rolling his eyes. "You don't cause problems. I enjoy your company and you're my closest friend." He smiled a little as he tapped his fingers along to the beat of the music. "Oh please. It's not like I spend that much money. I spoil you occasionally." He snickers a little bit, humming as he glances at the other. "What drink do you want?"
"Something I can get drunk on. The rest is up to you." he said, slinging his arm back around the other's shoulder. He knew it wouldn't distract Caspian from driving, and he was deserving of nice things anyways, just by being him. "Just go to wherever's closest, don't go anywhere fancy."
He nods and smiles a little bit humming along with the radio as he drives. It had started to rain slightly, the water hitting against the ground and windshield. Caspian glances at the other for a second, his eyes gentle. "Anything else you want?" He asks curiously, a small smile on his lips.
"No, not really. I'll just take what you give me," he did in fact notice the innuendo, but he hoped Caspian wouldn't remark on how forward he was being. He wasn't usually like this, he would typically be more subtle, but this was an emergency. He had to pull out every trick in the book, just to ensure his safety.
