Rain quickly finished, and rushed to get back, as she liked to be there before anyone else, so she could work either by herself or one on one with the dance instructor. She truly was dedicated to dance. Ballet was her pride and joy, and it made her happy about where she is now compared to where she was. She sat down on the floor and began to prep a new pair of shoes after changing.

"actually no, today was quite interesting. Met your girlfriend earlier today. She seems really nice."
Grey nearly choked on his coffee "what? Who?"
Catia laughed at her older brother "the girl you so heroically went after to make sure she was sauce last night. She came over today.day to order lunch guring her break. Rain I think her name was. Very fitting considering she literally came during rain shower earlier."
Grey took a deep breath and nodded slowly "she's not my girlfriend. Don't think she likes me much considering what I kinda did yesterday."
She shrugged and munched on her cinnamon roll. "Don't think so, she seemed quite interested in you back at the restaurant when I mentioned you."

A man came over to her. A young instructor in training, who danced with her often. Her had black curly hair and green eyes, and charmed Rain. Many a time had he thrown her in the air and caught her. Alas he had a girlfriend, so she was going nowhere. Still, soon enough they were practicing their lifts and pirouttes for the troupes next recital.

Grey shook his head but knew better than to argue back with his sister.
"She told me we could drop by for lunch when we were free at the dance studio." She said, glancing over at Grey hopefully.
Grey nodded slowly, surprised to hear that rain was a dancer. He supposed that's where she got her strength from. "Sure, we can drop by."
"Great! Let's go then!" Catia yanked Grey up by the arm and practically dragged him down the street.
"Wait now?!"
"Mhm, lunch breaks don't last forever."

She laughed as she is tossed and he calls up. "Now go for that coupe de grace and land that swan!" And she does the splits, points her toes, and smiles. "Like that?" "Perfect as always. You're going to make an amazing lead row in our upcoming swan lake." She put her arms up and he slowly lifted her up, and spun her around. "Yes, and if our prince would show up more often, I am sure he would match my ability and possibly surpass me. "Ah, he doesn't have your passion Rain. It's appreciated in such a hard dance. Now then, I noticed your piroutte was a bit tight, be careful. Can't have you twisting your ankle. Loosen up." She nodded and began to hum the music as she started the routine she was going over once more.

Grey was practically dragged across town by Catia towards the studio, despite his excuses.
"She won't be bothered by us dropping by and saying hi Grey, she told me we could drop by anyways!"
"Yeah but she's probably rehearsing or something."
"And? We'll be like a mini cheer team."
With a sigh, Grey gave up his arguing and followed his sister inside the dance studio, walking to the back wall where parents and whom he assumed to be boyfriend's and girlfriends were watching dancers leap and, well, dance.

More girls walked in, and crowded the practice, but there was Rain. She was in the middle of being thrown on the air and twirling, when she saw Grey and Catia, and nearly messed up. She landed safely though,and in a whispered tone said she needed to use the bathroom, before scurrying off and walking over to them with a smile. "Catia, I didn't expect you to show up today. With-with Grey here too!"

"we were in the area for a lunch break so we decided to drop by, I hope that's ok, I know you're busy."
Grey gave a small wave and pointed towards where Rain had been dancing a few moments previously. "You did amazingly."
Catia nodded in agreement "yeah! It's almost like you combined dancing with gymnastics!"

"It's more like cheer leading, and is fairly common within the ballet scene. It's very much the icing on the cake." She nodded and smiled, and looked over in the crowd to hear someone calling her name. Of course, Aaron was there too. "Oh… bubble burst." She rolled her eyes as he started to walk over with a bouquet of Lilacs. Her favorite.

Grey narrowed his eyes slightly and crossed his arms slightly. Catia arched an eyebrow as Aaron approached, recognizing him immediately. "Thought you'd be happy that your boyfriend came to congratulate you?." Catia muttered to Rain.

"He happened to piss me off first date yesterday so bad that I don't even want a second date. He's so self centered. Thank your brother for that realization,and ruining of the date." She finished her sentence right as he walked over. "Rain! Gorgeous dancing!" He shoved the flowers in her face. "Ah, you bothered to remember one detail about me." He sighed. "Look. I know it doesn't mean much, but I'm sorry for being so self centered and heartless. Give me a second chance? Please?" She shook her head. "I don't have the time for second chances. I have a dance recital to prepare, my sister to raise, and I may have to get a second job soon, as dreams don't pay the bills. With more tenants moving out, the rent has gone up. But, if you can prove me worth my time. Better." She huffed and headed back off to the stage, being beckoned over by a few other girls.

Catia shot Grey a stern look. He shrugged "hey, if anything I made it a bit more interesting, plus she made it very clear she wasn't going to make things easy." He defended, raising his hands in innocence.
He glanced over at Aaron, feeling a pang of guilt for the hero. He knew Aaron wasn't the best person but everyone had flaws.

Aaron sighed as he watched Rain walk away, haughty and taught. Soon though a smile returned to her lips, and she returned to her training. "I'm lucky she even took the flowers. And even luckier I guessed right on them being her favorite. I couldn't remember if it was lilacs or lillies…" He shook his head, and then noticed who he was talking too. "Grey! Why are you here?"

Grey rolled his eyes with a small shake of his head before nodding to Catia. "We just wanted to stop by and say hi since we were on our lunch break." He replied smoothly, smirking as Catia gave Aaron a glare.
"What are you doing here? Don't you have a city to look over or something?" He asked, trying his best to not snap at him.

"I get an alert every time a police alert contains a bank robber or anything. I'm not worried. I've got amends to make." He said with a sad sigh, looking out at Rain once more. "Since you ruined our date, I figured that I'd try too make up for what you won't."

Grey shrugged, eyes flicking back to Rain for a moment before shoving off the wall. "Do what you wish Aaron, I couldn't care less. But don't assume you know anything about what I do or how I live my life, and that include how I make amends." He growled, gently pulling his sister to the exit. Catia glared over her shoulder and stuck her tongue out at Aaron as she followed her brother

Aaron watched them walk away and huffed a bit, watching Rain. She looked him dead in the eyes as she threw away the flowers, then put a smile on her face and went back to dancing. He eventually went home, and so did she. She did have her little sister to take care of. "Why does he have to ruin everything.. " She walked in the door to see her little sister say on the couch, watching TV. She shook her head, pulled on a soft smile, and continued her night as usual, leaving her phone in her room as Aaron tried to set up another date.

"so that was interesting, your girlfriend is firey." Catia noted with a grin.
Grey glared at his sister and shook his head "she's not my girlfriend. She's just some I have the unfortunate pleasure of getting kicked by just because I made things interesting on a boring date." He replied.
"Uh huh…so you admit it was a date." Catia drawled, nudging her brother's shoulder. "Oh come on grey, you haven't dated in so long. And she seems to like you more than Aaron, though that's understandable.
He shrugged and stopped on the sidewalk. "She's into Aaron. She might be mad now, and he might be a selfish jerk now but he'll work on that for her. That us if he truly likes her. I have no place there other than to shake things up occassionally."
Catia sighed softly "you don't know how wrong you are Grey." She took a deep breath and hugged her brother "I'll see you back home soon, Kay?"
Grey nodded and hugged her back, watching as she walked towards the restaurant before slipping into the Gray area to start his work early

Her little sister laughed. "AGAIN AGAIN!" She cried out, as Rain picked up Alice up and threw her into the air and then caught her, and put her on the couch and started tickling her, before stopping when her little sister yelled out. "I'm GONNA PEE!" And then watched her run off to the bathroom. She sighed, and smoothed down her hair, and began to clean up the coloring book and markers before there was a knock at the door. She got up, and opened it to see Aaron shuffling back and forth nervously on his feet, back turned. She cleared her throat. "Cloudy, we need to talk." "No. You see me as property and the love interest. You only tell your side of the story. That's the first time you've ever taken interest in me and my hobbies." Her little sister came to the bathroom and clung to her leg. "Hi Aaron!" She waved up at him. He gave a sad little wave back. "I know Rain I'm sorry-" He got cut off when he saw the cold look in Rains eyes. "Leave me alone. I have to watch out for little Ally here. You fighting villians and me being around you, well. It could get me killed. And I will never trust you around her. You're too conceited. Why are you after me?" "Because you're weak. Or so I thought. And alone. Because that's the way it's supposed to be." She just shut the door and locked it. "Not another word Aaron leave me ALONE." She then stood there, forgetting Alice was there for a moment, before feeling her tug on her skirt as he walked away. "I'm hungry…" Rain snapped back into reality and shook her head. "Right of course. How about we go out for dinner and some icecream? And go to a movie, or head down to the fair at the boardwalk?" Her little sister clapped her hands and spun around. "YEAH YEAH YEAH!" Rain grabbed her phone and blocked Aaron's number, and every other contact he had to her as Alice got on her shoes and coat, and soon they were off.
