(We can just figure it out lol)
(Okay, can you start?)
(Well.. Do our characters meet in a coffee shop or something?)
(Yeah, sure)
(Alright sorry just had to check, I'll get that up in a minute.)
(👍)
Lexi had already sat down at the counter in a cozy little diner not to far from her office she had just gotten off night shift and decided to stop and get a cup of tea and something to eat, she had a cup of blueberry lavender tea sweetened with honey, sitting across from her, she brought the cup up to her lips and took a sip of it and smiled a little to herself. A few minutes went by and she was brought a plate with a croissant two sunny eggs and two pieces of bacon. She thanked the server and began to pick a piece of the croissant off and popped it in her mouth.
Cyrin hums, leaning over a counter in the diner he worked at, watching the second hand move around the clock. He covers his mouth with his hand yawning. All he wanted to do was go home, but he still had 36 minutes left in his shift. He looks up when someone walks in and then back down as his coworker took her order. He had debated taking it himself, but he was too tired to muster up his 'I am here to serve and I can deal with bullshit all day' smile, so he had let Derek take the table.
He looks over at the table, making sure the girl didn't need anything before looking down at his book. Derek got off in 6 minutes, his shift ending 30 minutes before Cyrin's own. That means he has 6 minutes to muster up that damn smile.
Lexi looked over at the same time cyrin was looking at her, she offered a soft smile to him before bringing her cup back up and taking a few sips from it. she pulled small book along with a pencil out of her bag and sat it down on the counter she moved the plate which had her food out of the way and begin to sketch something into the journal. She ate tiny bits at a time but was mostly paying attention to her sketch book than anything, she was working on a drawing of an old man and a dog under an oak tree, she was doing the details of the man's face at the moment everything else seemed to be done and looked as if a professional had done it themselves.
Cyrin ignores the girl, grumbling, 3 minutes. 3 minutes, then he'd have to put that damn smile on his face. A smiles he didn't want to muster for however long the girl was here. Or for the rest of his shift. Whichever came first. He leans back and then buys himself a milkshake, "And that's going to be 3.89. . ." He mumbles to himself, before turning and making the milkshake and starts to drink it.
(Don't mean to be pushy, but it's your turn)
(Ack I'm sorry I'm a little stressed at the moment, can I have a day or two?)
(Of course. It's no rush. I know things can happen.)
(Thank you! I appreciate it.)
(Np!)

(Ah sorry about that I couldn't find the forum!)
Lexi roles her eyes before bringing her attention back to her sketch. She hadn't really done anything to annoy this person with aggravated her a bit but she shook it off and preoccupied herself so she could calm down a tad so she didn't seem irritable.
(And I'm sorry this is short I'm not home at the moment.)
(It’s perfectly fine)
Cyrin hums softly, stabbing his straw into the milkshake over and over again. He lifts his head when Derek pokes his head out, “Cy, see you tomorrow. Good luck.” He chuckles, walking out after patting Cyrin’s shoulder.
Cyrin rolls his eyes, “Have a good evening, Derek.” He sighs, and his time was up. Peopleing was his least favorite part of his job, and he really wanted a position that didn’t involve peopleing with strangers. But that was for the cook, and Cyrin was the kind of person to burn water.

(Fuck my reply didn't go through 🤦♀️ one second)
(Lol, it's fine)

(I'm having some trouble writing a reply.. Sorry)
(It’s fine-)
(When there isn't a lot of confrontation, or conversations in general I hit writer's block's really easily)
