A small smile grew on his lips as he saw Anna close her eyes. De’Tearion knew just from that how much she trusted him, and it was heartwarming after so many years of fighting for the barest scraps of respect and trust, only to be rewarded with treachery and rejection.
De’Tearion couldn’t help caressing her back as she arched it. She was so delicate in his arms, a butterfly fresh from the cocoon. And yet, there was strength hidden in her lovely curves. Strength borne of experience and hardship, something he knew well.
His soft grin grew a bit as her blush brightened. He hadn’t realized how much he adored blushes until Anna. She looked so sweet and endearing when she blushed. It was addictive.
Her words then inspired a lighthearted chuckle. Sweet and endearing, indeed.
A loud moan burst from him as she ‘ground’ against him, one that was heavily accented by several chirps and clicks. It smothered the sound of her moan, though he was still aware of it. By Mercy, was she begging for him? Was she so deliberately teasing him? But… how did she know how sensitive his legs were? Or… was it all accidental?
Part of him, the logical part, believed the latter. Anna didn’t know enough about him to know that his legs were a prime target for seducing him, especially since his legs were armor-plated instead of merely skin. But, the other part, the desperate and feral side, didn’t care if she had done it intentionally or not. Mercy have him, she was alluring in the best of ways, whether she knew it or not.
His long fingers curled around the side of her waist, holding her firmly but gently. His other hand then slid down her body before slipping behind her knees. He scooped her up with such ease, and laid her down on the ground, all without breaking their kiss.
Though, once she was stretched out on the grass, he pulled back to catch his breath. A moment of hesitation came over him as he realized what he’d just done, but he quickly pushed it away. If Anna was fine with this route, then so was he. And, besides, it had been ages since he last craved someone so badly. Not even Mileena had caught his attention so deeply, though she had been close.
But, in this particular moment, De’Tearion realized that maybe Mileena hadn’t been the right one for him anyway. Mileena had been sweet, yes, but she was surrounded by the politics and stress that De’Tearion had wallowed in for centuries. Not so with Anna. It was liberating, to say the least.
