Azu is a musical prodigy. A piano prodigy, that is. From the age of three, his parents put him in lessons, and even before that, he was taught that music was most important. To keep him from distractions, he was kept in a sheltered environment. He only knew a couple things- music, school, and home. Although, school and home were pretty much the same thing, just that school was in a separate room. In fact, Azu's parents even had a whole one-room schoolhouse built in their backyard. However, at the age of 17, he announced to his parents that he wanted to try public schooling, promising that he would keep focused on all his studies and most importantly, music.

Alright, so basically Azu will make a friend (or two) and you will play one of his friends. At some point, your character might invite him to lunch or something, and then ask if he wants a coca cola or something. You get the point, I hope.

Onto the rules! I reserve the right to ask for a writing sample and/or say no. First come, first serve! Swearing, blood & gore, and other mature subjects are fine, but no racial slurs, and if you're going to depict a romance scene (for whatever reason, it's not like this is a romance rp anyways) absolutely no smut. Also, I shouldn't have to say this, but andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules apply as well.

We will be using templates, and your character can be any gender, but please have your character be between 16 and 18! (Can be 16 or 18) I think that's about it, let me know if you have any questions!

Name: Eli Carter
Age: 17
Gender: Non-binary (any pronouns are fine)
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: He has a fairly neutral complexion with stormy blue eyes, splashed of freckles on his cheeks and his nose, and straight light blond hair that sits just above his shoulders. He’s roughly 5’7, a healthy athletic build, and is always seen wearing glasses that keep falling down the bridge of his nose.
Personality: He’s a cheerful character for the most part, though doesn’t take shit from people and is not afraid to get his hands dirty if someone threatens him or someone he cares about.
Background: (optional) Still being decided, if that’s okay?
Other: Very passionate about art and music

(Is he okay?)

Name: Azu Murasaki

Age: 17

Gender: male

Sexuality: straight

Appearance: somethin' kinda like this, and always has sheet music on him…
somewhere.

Personality: Very serious about music, and rarely talks to others. However, if talked to, he will make small talk until he is 'dismissed.' Doesn't really know much about 'normal human culture,' other than what he was exposed to as a kid. Always puts music first, but has high expectations for himself in all subjects, even life in general.

Background: Azu is a musical prodigy. A piano prodigy, that is. From the age of three, his parents put him in lessons, and even before that, he was taught that music was most important. To keep him from distractions, he was kept in a sheltered environment. He only knew a couple things- music, school, and home. However, at the age of 17, he announced to his parents that he wanted to try public schooling, promising that he would keep focused on all his studies and most importantly, music. (yes i did just copy paste the prompt but i mean, it is a background so-)

"Azu, we're worried. You sure you really want to attend public school? You know we just want the best for you. You've got to promise to keep up your studies, especially your music."

Azu sighed. "Yes Mom, yes Dad. I will keep my excellent grades. I want to graduate like a regular person. After all, public school can't be that much different from homeschool, can it?"

As Azu walked onto school grounds for the first time in his life, he looked around in awe. Woah, this was public school? How did kids even know where to go? He was absolutely baffled. Busy trying to figure out where he was supposed to go first, Azu accidentally bumped into another person, just a couple inches taller than him. "Ah- sorry about that…"

(basically azu bumped into eli)

Eli was already in the building and had shoved some of his things away in a locker before he realised it was time to be heading to class. He began walking down the hallway, but something stopped him suddenly. He looked up from his phone when someone bumped into him, jumping a little from the impact. “Woah, hey, don’t worry about it. It’s my fault for not looking where I was going. Are you okay? You seem a little lost.”

"Oh, uh, hey… yeah, I'm fine… but yeah, I could use some assistance haha…" Azu cracked a shy smile. "So, um, hi, I'm Azu, and I've been homeschooled for the past eleven years… so you could say I am lost ahahah…"

"Oh- speaking of which, what's that thing you're holding?"

Strangely enough, Azu had not been exposed to cellphones before, nor computers. His parents had hired tutors to come see him in-person every day. According to his mother, they didn't want him to get 'addicted' to the internet.
