The nurse smiles and jots something down. "Alright. I'll come and get you in an hour or so, alright?" He asks gently before exiting the room.
The nurse smiles and jots something down. "Alright. I'll come and get you in an hour or so, alright?" He asks gently before exiting the room.
Arthur nodded in response, waiting a good 5 minutes to see if he was gone, before humming softly to himself, looking over at an empty corner, "So, what do you think this kid will be like?" he asked, staring into the empty space.
Zephyr perked up when he heard the door open. He sat up, the small chinks of his straightjacket made him pause but he turned his head about. The world was dark to him, but he didn't mind. He tilts his head as he hears footsteps. "Hello, Zephyr. How are we going today?" He shrugged. "I am okay, sir." He could hear the nurse jot something down. "I have a surprise. I'm introducing you to another patient. Is that alright?" Zephyr nods and smiles. "Yes please."
Arthur hums softly, running his fingers through his messy ashy red hair, humming as he changed the wall color yet again with a flicker of violet magic. The tune he was humming was random, and more than a little discordant, much like the colors on the wall. But it was soothing to him as he thought about meeting this new person.
Time skip?//
(Yeah, you mind starting again? I've never been good at starting…)
Sure thing//
Zephyr was released from the straightjacket and gently guided to another room, you see, he was blind. the bandage remained firmly around his eyes, hiding the sad sight of completely blank eyes. He tilts his head as he walks, leaning on the nurse. His small frame was sad to take in, he was beyond skinny and he was so small.
Arthur hummed softly, following quietly when the nurse came for him, studying the walls of the outer corridor as he said quietly. Wonder what this zephyr is like… he thought, humming curiously as he walked.
He was gently sat down in a chair and he smiled a little bit, thanking the nurse quietly. Due to the short sleeved shirt, many scars covered his arms and neck were revealed. He taps at his lip, stretching out his arms and giving a happy little sigh. His platinum white hair was soft and fluffy around his head, his bangs falling into his eyes.
Arthur hummed curiously as he was led into the room, his eyes instantly riveting on Zephyr as he was led in, noting the scars, and the almost white hair. "Seems an interesting fellow doesn't he?" He asked the spot beside him, to which there seemed no answer. But to Arthur there was an answer, a good natured chuckle from the spirit that followed him everywhere.
He hears the voice and tiles his head at the noise. Now that he thought about it, would the other call him a creep? He could not see, and he had thick bandages around his eyes, and he was so skinny and small. He didn't know what to do. He picked at his skin nervously, before putting his head down.
Arthur watched him curiously, studying how he reacted. "So you're Zephyr, right?" He asked. Coming over to the other, slonly as he noted the bandages. He himself shivered at the scars, remembering the ones he had managed to keep invisible.
Zephyr nods slowly. "Yes." His voice was quiet, reserved. He kept his face to the floor and fiddled with his fingers, still appearing to be rather shy. His foot tapped lightly against the floor.
Arthur nodded quietly, taking the other seat across from him. "My name'so Arthur" He said softly, attempting to make friends, knowing full well he wasn't doing so good.
He looked up at the direction of the others voice. "It's nice to meet you, Arthur." He replies quietly, carefully setting his hands on the table. They were small, just like the rest of him, and bony too. He never really ate what was given to him. It was rare when he did eat.
Arthur hummed softly once more as he looked the other over. "I'm going to guess you don't get out much… right?" He asked softly, his voice low, almost shy.
"No. Rarely." He mutters in reply. "The others rarely interact with me." He whispers, fumbling with his fingers. He appeared rather shy.
"Why not?" Asked Arthur curiously. "You seem like a nice enough guy…" he didn't bother mentioning the bandages over the other'side eyes, thinking that would be a bad subject.
"I'm odd looking…." He mutters softly, still messing with his fingers. "At least, that's what I hear the other patients say…" He whispers. Zephyr looked like a kicked puppy, and he sounded like he was nervous.
"I think that's silly" he said softly, trying to be reassuring. Arthur was tired of being lonely in his cell with only a spirit to talk to. "Just because you look different shouldn't mean anything in my opinion." He said softly, says the guy who routinely hides his true form… he thought to himself.
He listens to the others voice. There was no malicious intent… And he seemed rather friendly. He didn't ask to touch the others face to get a grasp of what he looked like, since people didn't like him touching their faces. "Thank you…" he mutters softly, gently easing up.
Arthur smiled softly, watching him. "Of course…" he said softly, ignoring the other's scars and the unease it caused him. "So, what sort of things do you like?" he asked after several minutes, still trying to be friendly.
Zephyr smiled a little as he tilted his head. "I really like it when I get to talk to people. I really enjoy soft things… I um… Well. I don't do much…" He mutters softly, "Other then sitting in my room. But yeah…" He smiled a little nervously.
"Honestly minus the people part it's the same thing for me…" he said. "Though I don't mind having a friend…" he tilted his head, studying him once more.
Zephyr smiles at that and nods. "I would like that too." he says softly as he fumbles with his hands, a piece of hair falling in front of his face.
