Title says it all, folks. I’ll ask for a writing sample, probably. And if you have a story idea you’ve been trying to workshop, bring it on over, too!
Any and all ideas welcome. If not, I can look for prompts. I’m just really feelin’ in the writing mood.
Little bit ‘o rules:
- No OP characters
- Do what you’re comfortable with— I’m alright with anything.
- Explicit language welcome as long as it’s not insulting another writer. Between characters or among situations, feel free
- If you don’t like humor or playful insults between characters then I’m probably not the best rp buddy for you. (My characters are often sarcastic and/or insanely stupid)
- Please have at least ok grammar. I get that sometimes people don’t— heck, I don’t most of the time— but please try.
- No controlling the other’s character (no gm)
- Please respond with actual content, I don’t want to have to keep the story going myself. Have your character act more than react.
- I’d enjoy it if you didn’t just up and leave. Tell me first— It’s alright, you have a life. Take your time, but let me know :)
- You don’t have to match my passage lengths, but please try to refrain from one-liners.
- Have fun, my dude
Thanks!
That’s pretty much it :P Welcome friends.
(Once you’re accepted then we can flesh out ideas and character templates soon after :)
May I? I've been dying to join an RP with you!
Sorry, Mosis, but Carrots replied first! If you’d like for us to rp, feel free to pm me instead :)
And hello @Carrots :D Mind sending over a writing sample? (I’ll most likely say yes regardless but I do enjoy knowing what I’m working with)
Heya of course I can, gimme two seconds :)
(Bloop, hope this works)
The body had been mutilated so terribly it was nearly unrecognisable. The young male was missing his right leg, ripped clean off. A chunk was missing from his left, though most of the limb was still present. Someone had dug out his insides, leaving them sprawled by his feet in a manner that could only described as less then delicate and his arms, one bent in entirely the wrong direction and the other missing a hand on his left side. His throat had been slit, three large claw marks digging right to the bone. Dark red blood spilled down his face from where he was missing an eye and his tongue, gone from his mouth. The body had been left on a rooftop overlooking the Thames. One would never have even found the boy’s broken body had the owner of the building not wanted a smoke so early in the morning. The man hadn’t been expecting to see the body of a mutilated teenage boy but then again, no one would.
It was the dead of night when the body was found on that building. The owner hadn’t understood the severity of the damage until he had found a lamp to properly illuminate the wounds with the help of the moonlight. It was uncommon to see a body so disturbingly brutalised and it had taken the man a few moments to come to his senses, rushing into the building to change into something more suitable then his nightwear and a robe. His wife had awoken by his antics and questioned him thoroughly to which he only replied with a shake of his head and a simple, ‘Tis not a matter for a woman, only for the police this is.’
Alrighty, welcome! (And wonderfully written, by the way)
Have any ideas you’ve been wanting to work with, or shall I provide some? The prompts I have aren’t very pressing, so I’m totally fine with either.
Gosh thank you :) and hm well there’s one I guess but it’s kind of complicated to explain though. I’m cool with anything as well, by the way.
You can try your hand at explaining it, or we could tweak it in a way that might be easier? Your choice really. As for other prompts, I have a few I can pull up. Should I send them over and we can pick? If so, have any genres in mind?
I think that would be best, yeah. If we can’t pick I could find some myself or explain the other as well. As for genre I love mystery-action stuff with a twist of fantasy but I’m cool with anything. I love writing stuff set in the past (like 19th century or medieval) but again, sci-fi for modern is cool too.

After being released from prison, and after, house arrest, ex-fugitive <insert name 1> devotes to living a simple life. But when Detective <insert name 2> asks him/her for a hand with new mysterious crimes, <1>‘s life spirals into chaos yet again. Though, who better to catch a fugitive than a fugitive?

“It was a long time since I had seen a devil. Still, the stinging scent of blood through my nostrils had always been a hard thing to forget. The sinister pieces of charcoal flesh tapped generously on their bodies. The eyes. I can still see it’s eyes staring back at me— to the very depths of my being. To the very heart of my core.
And you, ..... I see them in you.”
-
“Each day grows colder. Each moment grows bleaker. Each minute passes by, the sky growing dimmer and dimmer. Though, it wasn’t until last year I realized— the sun is dying.”

A rogue riffraff <person 1> can’t stay out of trouble. Though, when they are finally set the dilemma of getting executed, they realize their days are less than numbered.
Though, in this prison, it seems the executor has taken quite a liking to the rogue… and perhaps can work something out. And perfectly so, because no one knows the executor <person 2> has the ability to resurrect the dead.

<Character 1> has been in a coma for over a year now. But it isn’t until they start communicating to their nurse <character 2> through his/her dreams do things start to get… complicated.
Here’s some I’ve been playing around with for a while. In all of them, I don’t mind being either character. Let me know if any of them fit your fancy— and if they don’t, I can go grab more :)
Oo wow they all seem hella cool. I really like 2 and 4 out of all of them but I can’t pick which I like most.
Ah, thank you! 2 and 4 are my favorites, too. It’s up to you. (I’m a terrible help because I’m insanely indecisive lol)
Lol me too honestly. How about we flip a coin? Heads is two and tails is four?
Tails it is. Prompt number 4
Alrighty, perfect. Which character would you like to be? Executioner or rogue? (All these questions, smh lol) I’m impartial, so I could take either. Though if we can’t decide again, I’ll just take executioner. (But go ahead if that’s what you wanted)
I feel like being the rouge would be interesting. Also, would this have romance and if straight or lgbt?
Your choice, really. Romance could be fun, but we don’t have to force it if you don’t want. As for alignment, I’m thinking of having a male character (I had already had a boy lined up for the role :D) so I’m fine with either
I always enjoy gay romances so I’m cool with that :)) is there a temp?
Alrighty. And sure— let me go grab the temp. I also might revise my boy a little so it might take slightly longer than just a copy/paste.
Feel free to leave any of them tbd

Full Name: Willem Arbesol
Aliases: Sparrow
Age: 20? can raise if need be
Race: human
Physical Desc: Dirty blonde hair, pale-vampire like skin. dark green eyes mixed with lighter shades. Chilled jaw line. Lean build, has a bit of defined muscle and outline but no much - enough that it’s obvious he does some training to keep himself in shape. Stands around 5’8-5’9, maybe slightly shorter. Has an array of scars across his body, tattoo of a deer skull with flowers through the antlers on his shoulder blades (https://pin.it/CnQOBnA)
Apparel/Gear: Wears a lot of dark clothing, navy blue if he’s feeling adventurous. Tends to be fairly loose in day to day activities but if he’s out at night or doing anything illegal then it tends to be tighter. Always wears a flowing black cap. As for gear he alway carries around multiple daggers on his body at all times. Also carries a light weight bow on occasion.
Personality: Willem puts up the persona that he’s a tough guy, confident. He likes people to believe that he knows what he’s doing at that he’s strong, a loveable rouge if you will. But he dies have his fears and problems. Can be hot headed and when it comes to a relationship he doesn’t have the faintest clue what he’s doing. Closeted gay and it’s something that eats at him since well, it’s a big thing. (Definitely would not be the top in a relationship). More scared of death then he likes to believe. Perfectionist. His mood can change fairly quickly depending on the circumstances. Jumps to conclusions when it comes to people and his relationship with them. Flirt, but again when it comes to relationship he’s got the knowledge of a child.
Habits/Mannerisms: Bites his nails when he’s scared, paces a lot, too. Tends to pout when he’s mad and blinks rapidly when he’s confused. Likes to lean against things when sitting or standing.
Hobbies: loves to read and ride horses, archery
Backstory: Grew up in a poor house hold as the only child. Lives with his father since his mother died. Took to crime from a fairly young age even though it got him in trouble with the law and his father. Father passed away in an accident when he was fourteen and he’s been on his own since. Does a lot of freelance work - but also loves to do his own thing if it means money at the end.
(Hope he’s okay)
(Aaaaa he’s great, I love him! I’ll get my boy up here in a second (had to go for a bit, but he’s almost all done up))
