A small smile pulled at Auria's pink lips, but her face stayed otherwise blank. Under her cloak, Ria wore a simple green gown that matched her eyes, a thin white ribbon tying around the dark corset around her waist. She curtsied in return with a small nod. "…Auria Reye. Pleasure."
Milly smiled again and sat back down, "So, whatcha doing out here?" She asked as she messed with her bouncy brown hair.
"That is for…" Ria went dead silent a moment. "You better hide, princess." She sighed. "My guards are looking for me." She looked behind her a moment, a very small breeze picking up. "They're strong headed idiots."
Milly slightly frowned, "Oh, okay…" She paused, "See you around?" She asked hopefully, before flying into the air.
Auria nodded. She was hopeful they would. Two guards wearing Oriath's colors approached Ria, dragging her immediately back towards the walls of the kingdom. They seemed to notice Milly, but payed her no mind. Ria grinned, already forming a plan to meet the girl again. A dangerous one, but it wasn't anything she hadn't done before.
Milly watched them drag her off then sighed and began the short flight back to her tower, her heart fluttering with the excitement of possibly meeting her again, "Stars…she's pretty…"
The guards dragging Auria away spoke openly about the war, already knowing the princess would find out sooner or later what was happening. Another camp had been attacked, and Oriath's boundaries had been pushed further back. She sighed, a sudden bad feeling sinking into her gut. 'Camp F… I was at the cross… Dammit.
Milly got back home quickly and heard that Oriath had been attacked some more, angered by the talk of war, Milly went out to the garden and sat thinking about Auria.
Imma steal some of Malohs gaurds actions for me post))
The guards Milly had sent off had no intention of leaving. They knew who Ria was and what position they would be put in if she was no longer home. The two guards with Auria were knocked to the ground by arrows. "I called it!" Auria shouted, her voice distorting as she fell into wisp form.
Milly soon got bored in the garden and headed to the shooting range to watch the soliders practice their aim, occasionally she shot a couple stars around them to practice as well. Her aim sucked and almost hit someone.
Auria felt an arrow move through her arm, then she returned to human form momentarily. "Iron." She reached for her belt, pulling out her dagger. Nope. It was knocked from her hand as a guard from Maloh forced the girl to the ground. "The King can use little ghost here and demand a ransom." He laughed, bounding the girls hands.
I meet a cute as hell girl, and I get welcomed by an arrow and ropes. How lovely the gods are to this land. Ria chuckled mentally, her previous runaway attempts from home most likely getting her out of most likely a day or two long captivity. At most.
Milly didn't know why, but she felt as if something bad had happened to Auria, "Hmm…" She pondered messing with the stone bricks of the castle, "I hope she's alright." She looked towards where she had previously been wondering if she could see anything, she couldn't and headed back inside, as the sky began to darken.
Auria was pulled on a slow hike across the river and to Maloh. Though she tried walking like a decent, what they called prisoner, they didn't always let her. Oh well, tough luck. She had been gagged upon being knocked to the ground. The guards took her immediately to the King of Maloh, forcing her to her knees.
Milly heard a commotion down in the Throne room and went to investigate. Her eyes flicked around until they rested on Auria. She put a hand to her mouth and stifled a gasp, No…
Auria watched the guards move to the king and they started murmuring in hushed voices. She moved herself into a comfortable position, sitting quietly where she was placed on the floor. She noticed Milly from the corner of her eye and looked over slightly. She showed no signs of fear like most would, or really signs of any emotion. She looked at her lap.
Milly stood quietly for a few minutes before interrupting the conversation, "Hello, father! Who is this girl?" She smiled trying to act dumb, "She's the princess of the other kingdom, the guards found her and we're keeping her here for ransom." Milly closed her eyes as her smile wavered, "Ah, I see. Do let me take care of her, father. And must you lock her up? She could easily stay with me!" Milly desperately wanted company and she didn't want anything bad to happen to Auria.
Auria smiled against her gag, tilting her head. There wasn't much Auria could do anyway, her dagger had gotten knocked away from her and an iron bolt held the rope around her hands together. She couldn't see a reason for the King to tell his daughter no, but at the same time, he was the King.
"Hmm, sure dear. But if she does any harm to you there will be consequences…" The king glared at Auria. Milly clapped her hands together in excitement, "Oh thank you!" She quickly commanded the guards to unbound Auria and started leading her to her room.
Auria quietly stood, rubbing her wrists lightly after being unbound. She slowly followed Milly, only after the guards pushed her forward. She was very grateful.
Once they reached Milly's room she closed the door behind her and turned to Auria, "Hi! Are you okay? Did they hurt you at all?" Milly skittee around her searching for signs of injury.
"I'm alright." Her voice was quiet. She looked around the room, observing it. She sighed a bit, biting the inside of her cheek.
In Milly's room there was a large bed, a blue carpet, the walls were decorated with stars and nooks with ways to get up to them. Several shelves filled with books also lined the wall. A dresser sat to the side and a table with two chairs sat right out on the balcony. Milly smiled, "Good. I'm sorry you got caught."
Auria smiled a little, shrugging. "They think my Mother and Father will surrender to get me back safely." She made a 'tsk' sound. "My parents know what I am capable of though." She hesitantly pulled her dark hair over her shoulder.
"Gosh, you're so brave!" Milly's eyes sparkled and she went to the table on the balcony, "Would you like something to eat, Auria?"
Auria shrugged. "I… Wouldn't mind eating. Thank you." She smiled a little wider, following Milly slowly. "And I am not so brave. I am called naive."
"Well that's more than I am." Milly fixed together some tea and scones then sat down, "Well, time to eat then!" She smiled.
Auria sat down, looking up at the sky. "You're being awfully nice to the enemies princess." She quirked an eyebrow.
Milly looked down, slightly embarrassed, "I don't like having enemies or war. I think it's stupid and immature. I know world peace doesn't exist, but people could at least act like they have some kind of sense. I try to make friends, I don't want to hate anybody, even if they're my kingdoms enemy." She looked up her golden eyes flaring with hope and some excitement. She then smiled again, "Will you be my friend?"
