Delusional and obsessed, a scientist who practices witchcraft, is convinced and encouraged she can reach godhood. Learning how to raise the dead has always been on her list of things to do - that, and to possibly repair a mistake she made in the past. Hellbent on that idea - whether it's by scientific means or through a gateway into the occult, she relentlessly studies books that haven't been opened in centuries, seeking out the esoteric.
Undoubtedly, she believes there is more than just what is tangible, and now, having exhausted the scientific area of her research, she turns to focus her attention on the thinly veiled - all while harboring a secret she's decided to take to the grave if she fails in her search for answers.
However, it would seem the universe is on her side as a group of military personnel come across something less than human, capturing it and bringing it in to be studied. It could very well be the jumpstart of what she's looking for.
And so, backed by one of the most powerful institutions to exist, Nexus, she is provided with a lab and any equipment she might need in her search for the unknown - hoping that it will aid them with military advances… if and when she does discover (or creates) something new.
She's been known to have a track record of conjuring the impossible, so expectations are high. There is no room for error.
Back at it again with my dumbass that thinks I'll be able to keep up with another rp on top of the 12+ i already have going. Apologies to those in advance who I haven't replied to yet, I will uhhhh get to them soon… at some point…
Either way, another good friend of mine has been dying to write out this storyline with me after our trial and error one in dms. Took me a hot minute to even think of the plot for this one but alas, I've fried all of my two brain cells doing it.
I'll be using one of my main characters from my own trilogy called Apotheosis, and Dinner Roll (said friend) will use one from hers, Twisted Truths.
I'm not sure how far we'll be taking it in terms of content that is more mature, but just in case, I'll put a general trigger warning here of anything and everything; such as gore, violence, self-harm, abuse, suicide, etc etc. I tend to lean more into darker themes, so caution is appreciated when reading anything I write if you do decide to follow along. I wouldn't say this is for the easily put off or underage (not that I'll ever write anything sexually explicit outside of dms).
