I'd really love to do a plot like this:
The wife of a wealthy man in the 1800s falls in love with one of the serving people.
I have the perfect character for the wife so I'll be playing her. The role of the serving person can be male or female, it doesn't matter to me. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I really hope that someone joins this!
Of course! : )

Personality: Thea is quiet, submissive, overly apologetic but she works harder than almost anyone else and is determined to prove her worth to herself and her family. For the most part, she's an eager to please, loyal person who is more than keen to carry out any task assigned to her. Growing up, she was taught that rules were in place for a reason and not following them could lead to disastrous consequences so she follows the rules down to the letter, never doing anything that she knows will upset anyone. She's a well-mannered, sweet young woman who goes out of her way to make someone smile, often baking and painting in her spare time.
History: Thea was born to Patrick and Constance Bennett, two very weathly people. As their only child she was given everything, except for their love and approval. The two had wanted a son, an heir, but they got her instead. Her birth had been difficult and there were a lot of complications. Her mother would not have survived carrying another child. It's a fact they refuse to let her forget, often blaming her for them not having a son. In a sense it's true. Other than the lack of affection, Thea was a happy child who got a wonderful education and lots of lovely things to play with. Over the years she was molded into a proper young lady. A few years ago, a man by the name of Richard Montgomery began to show interest in her. This delighted her parents as Mr. Montgomery happened to be incrediably weathly and well-known in the community. Thea, on the other hand, did not share her parents' sentiments. She wanted to marry for love, not for rank. Unfortuntely, she had no say in the matter and was promptly married to Mr. Montgomery. It's been two years since then. Her husband isn't the kindest man but he makes sure that she's well taken care of, as long as she listens to him. She does whatever he asks of her, afraid that he'll once more raise his hand. The very first week of her marriage she learned that saying no is not an option. Therefore, she complies. It doesn't always get her out of a slap or a harsh reprimand or a beating but it does lower the chances of that happening. Recently, Richard has gotten more insistant that they spend their evenings in the bedroom. She's painfully aware that he wants a son or at least a child but she most certainly does not. Too frightened to say no, she just has to go along with whatever he does. It's far from the life she wanted.
Other: She owns a small black 20lb spaniel named Addie (an engagement present from Richard) and a white canary named Pearl.

Sorry it’s pretty brief I’m doing some work right now.
He looks good! I'm going to get the starter up. Take your time with your reply. : )
Theodosia moves swiftly through the halls of the large white mansion. The constant tick, tick, tick of the old Grandfather Clock in the parlor fills the otherwise eerie silence.
As usual, she's all alone in the all too big house. Other than the occasional appearance of one of the maids or servants, she doesn't see anyone all day. It's a lonely way to live. She sighs softly and runs her hand lightly along the spiraling banister as she climbs down the wooden stairs. The mansion is truly lovely but it only represents pain, loneliness, and oppression for her. Forcing to do whatever her husband wants is far from the life she wanted but she has no choice in her matter. The marriage was forced upon her. There was no way she could have said no. It's not as though she can do anything now.
The sound of the front door opening catches her attention. It appears as though her husband is home. She lifts up her skirts of her pale blue and white laced dress ever so slightly so that her pace can quicken. Everyday at the same time he walks in the door and she greets him. Changing the routine would not end well for her and she's not stupid enough to even think of trying it.
"How was your day, darling?" She asks, reaching up to place a kiss on his cheek. "The same as always." Is the short reply that greets her. His lack of interest no long insults her.
Her small Spaniel, Addie, comes running up to her a second later, begging to be picked up. She happily obliges and scoops the little dog up, holding her close. The dog is her only constant companion. She doesn't know what she would do without her.
As per usual, she leads the way into the parlor. "Would you like me to ask one of the serving ladies to make us some tea?" She asks her husband, offering a soft smile. "Yes, yes, that is fine, dear," Richard tells her absentmindedly. "Marissa, could you please make us some tea?" She politely requests of the other woman. The brunette answers with a curt nod before leaving the room.
Miguel steadily walked down the long hall passing Marissa on the way down, “Hello Marissa,” He says with a smile, “Is Master Richard back?” Marissa nodded and smiled back, continuing on her way. He continued as well and reached the parlor. Miguel peeked into the parlor and stepped in, doing a curt bow, “Welcome back, sir. Is there anything I can get you or Lady Theodosia,” He lightly smiles at Theodosia, besides the tea?”
Theodosia talks quietly with her husband, giving him her full attention. The talks ideally of his day but it's nothing of interest. It usually is the same conversation every day. What she wouldn't give for a more interesting conversation. Anything is better than listening to him talk about work. Again. She glances over her shoulder and offers a small smile when Miguel enters the room.
"Bring us the platter of cookies that Marissa made yesterday," Richard says, not glancing up from his newspaper for even a second. The serving people aren't worth properly acknowledging.
Miguel nodded at Richards command, “Yes sir, I’ll be back in a few minutes.” Miguel began to exit the parlor, heading back down the hall and passing Marissa once as she was coming back with the tea. He got into the kitchen, said a hello to the cooks and looked for the cookies. After finding them, he smiled and left with the platter.
"Thank you, Marissa," Theodosia smiles softly as she accepts her cup of tea. It's been made just the way she likes it. She blows lightly at the liquid to cool it down before taking a sip. She sets the cup back down after a moment and looks up at her husband. "Richard, dear, did you speak with Mr. Hendrix today? Elizabeth and I were hoping to have tea soon and we would love it if you and Mr. Hendrix joined us."
Miguel stood back so Marissa could exit then entered the parlor and sat the tray of cookies down on the table, “Is there anything else you would like me to do for either of you?” He asked patiently.
Richard makes a small noise of acknowledgement but doesn't actually say anything. He's too busy with the tea and cookies and reading the newspaper.
"Thank you, Miguel, I appreciate the offer," Theodosia says as she folds her hand in the lap. "Could you please check with the cook and ask at what time dinner will be served?"
“Yes of course, I’ll be right back, Lady Theodosia,” He offered a smile and stepped through the hall, heading to the kitchen, he tapped the nearest chef on his shoulder, “Ah Chef Gruosi, what time will dinner be served tonight? Lady Theodosia requests an answer.” Gruosi turned from the counter and replied, “7:00 sharp.”
She smiles before nodding her head and turning back to Richard. “Darling, I really need an answer about tea.” The sooner they know, the better. “Yes, yes, of course dear,” Richard agrees absentmindedly. She perks up a little at this. Elizabeth would be delighted to hear that he’ll be joining them.
Miguel came back to the parlor once more, “Dinner will be at 7:00 tonight, Lady Theodosia. It is currently 5:30.” He answered casting a glance at the clock.
“Thank you, Miguel.” Theodosia stands and brushes off her dress. A moment later, a ball of black fluff comes barreling towards her, a leash dangling from it’s jaw. “Richard, it is time for Addie’s walk. I shall be back shortly.”
Miguel stood to the side to let her pass, "Do you need anyone to come with you, my lady or will you go by yourself?" He asked, smiling down at Addie.
Theodosia takes the leash from the dog and clips it to her collar. “Some company would be nice,” She says with a small smile. Walking alone, even with her lovable dog, isn’t much fun.
"All right, then I shall come with you," Miguel responded, "I'm ready when you are."
Grabbing her shawl off of the peg on the wall, she turns to face Miguel. “Shall we?” She bids farewell to her husband before exiting the house.
Miguel replied with a smile and followed Theodosia out the door, gently closing it behind them.
Theodosia walks down the path that leads to the sidewalk, taking everything in. She’s lived here for three years and yet she still has to pause and take in the beauty every time she comes outside.
Miguel looked around for minute then broke the silence, "How have you been today m'lady?"
“Oh, not too bad. I can’t complain.” Theodosia slows her pace so that they can walk side by side. “And yourself?”
