He nodded in understanding "yeah not the best of teachers"
He nodded in understanding "yeah not the best of teachers"
"Yeah they can't teach at all."
"you're talking about yourself might I remind you."
"No, we are talking about castle cooks."
"Them and yourself…quiet.." he picked his head up and looked out the door
Basil nodded.
"rashe, come out, we know your in there."
"Damn. Basil stay here. No matter what you here or see…stay. here." Rashe headed outside
"fine. I will stay."
"what do you want caster?" He nodded up at the Fae warrior
"I see you still protect that little human. Why?"
"None of your concern now what do you want?"
Basil stayed quiet and hidden.
"why rashe? Why do you protect that boi???? Hen you can rule his race
"BECAUSE I LOVE HIM!"
(Merde est devenu réel)
Basil stayed quiet and just listened.
The Fae warrior snorted "you? Love a human? Now that's rich. The Fae prince loving a human prince."
Rashe looked up "so? What's it to you. Nothing. You can't do anything to me or him unless the tie is broken."
Basil didn't say a word. But was a bit surprised by the words he heard.
"true. so are you going to tell him? Or are you going to continue the act?"
"It's the only way to keep him safe from the likes of you." he glared at the warrior
he shrugged indifferently "He doesn't love you back Rashe."
Basil kept deathly silent.
"It doesn't matter if he does or doesn't. I made a promise to keep him safe until he was 18."
The warrior shrugged again "fine, have it you're way. But I don't think you'll be happy to find out that he doesn't feel the same." with that the warrior vanished in a swirling cloud of wind.
Rashe let out a sigh of relief and turned back to the house
Basil was sitting on the floor of the kitchen.
Rashe walked in silently and leaned against the door with a sigh
"Nice conversation."
He groaned "what'd you hear?" he asked, hoping that Basil didn't hear him yell
"That you loooove me."
He cursed under his breath and slumped to the ground "anything else?"
"You are protecting me."
He nodded "yeah that too, but you knew that already."
