"easily, follow the smell if singed hair and skin of someone who doesn't know how to control themselves or their magic yet." He shifted and trotted out the door, keeping his nose to the ground, searching for the scent

Basil just followed quietly.

He found the scent and started to run, top speed so he wouldn't lose it

Basil ran after Rashe.

Rashe slowed down, momentarily forgetting about Basil and waited for him to catch up

"you are fast." He said breathlessly.

His ears flattened in apology. Tilting his head to sniff the air once more, he walked off to the town, not caring if people saw him

Basil acted like Rashe was his dog.

Rashe growled. If it kept them from being discovered, then he would play the role of royal pet. He growled once more so Basil k ew his distaste for the situation anf continued to walk

Basil nodded and kept a distance.

He perked his ears as he heard someone approach

Basil pulled a dagger out of nowhere.

He growled louder as the man got closer, the man looked up and smiled "you two don't belong….belong belong belong" he chanted

Basil grabbed the guy put the knife to his side and pulled him away.
