(Ok, so do they know they are working with each other or not yet?)
(Ok, so do they know they are working with each other or not yet?)
(they kinda know they've been paired but haven't met officially yet or anything)
(Ok, I'm saying its night so I assume that they meet in the morning?)
Cielle sighed once again and shut her laptop in anger, this was not helping her solve anything. She groaned and got out of her comfy chair, heading to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. As she put the kettle of water in the stove to heat, she leaned against the counter with her arms crossed to go through all the things she knew about the glitch.
Her train of thought was derailed by the hissing of the kettle. She poured the water into her cup and added her favourite tea before going into the living room and sitting infront if the TV. The late night shows weren't the best in her opinion so she just opened Disney plus to rewatch on of her favourite movies.
Not even half an hour into the movie, soft snore could be heard from Cielle who had finished her tea and was curled up into a ball, a soft blanket covering her.
(yes, but i can't really tell if what you've written is at night or the next morning lol)
(Lmao, I edited it to make it more clear. Sorry for confusing you, if I cant sleep, I make a cup of tea to help me sleep)
(thanks. it's just that where i live we kinda have coffee/tea all through the day)
Oliana's gauntlet buzzed, and she looked at it to see a text from her dad. He wanted her to get home, and to be fair it was roughly midnight. She quickly texted him back and began to lock up her lab. She used the gauntlet to get her bike to come to her, and as she walked out of the agency her bike was waiting for her.
(it would be cool if you could start in the morning but in a mini meeting of sorts)
fucking old white men Cielle thought. It was 8 in the morning and she had been called into a meeting where some people, she didnt know half of them, had called her and she wasnt even able to get a cup if coffee.
She found herself in a weird position on the sofa in her living room when she woke up and let out a string of colourful words when she realized that the tv had been on the entire night. My electric bill will be longer than my gran's list of complaints against me. she had thought.
A smile made it's way into her face when she relived her morning. "Agent Hurricane, are you listening to us?" She heard an outraged voice squeak. She looked over to see Agent Marks looking at her, a frown set onto her face. "Yes Bertha, you were just mentioning how you thought you should have ben the one in my place, assigned to work in this mission but sorry to inform you love, you would look half as good as j do in this suit." She said smiling sweetly.
Shit, I'm late, Oliana thought to herself as she weaved in between cars on the road. She'd woken up really late, and had gotten ready as soon as she could. She could have simply glitched to the meeting, but the glitch ability doesn't allow her to take much with her. So she wouldn't have been able to take her bike, which she had to have at the agency while working. As soon as she arrived and put her bike in the locker, she glitched into the meeting. It was much quicker than making her way up eight flights of stairs.
Right before Bertha could say something to Cielle, another body popped until view. "Agent Glitch, so nice of you to join us, half an hour after the meeting begun." A male Agent said snarkily.
"I will advise you sir that we are the most qualified for this specific mission and the Agency grants us the right to decline any mission with a reasonable explanation. Keep that in mind the next time you would like to be sarcastic towards me or my teammates." Cielle said in a cool voice.
"Are you–are you threatening me?!" He sputtered.
"Yes I am."
Oliana glared at the agent. He had always been getting on her nerves. She waited for Agent Hurricane to defend her, and then she gave her own.
"Need I remind you, Michael, that I am way above you? I am the most trusted agent in the Two Moons. I'm the front runner of tech, and I'm the front runner of field. All I have to do is go to the director and complain about your harassment. You know I'll win. So I suggest you stay on my good side."
She then turned to the highest agent there, Agent Indigo. "Sorry about that, Indigo. Continue."
(Idk what to say so, imma make some shit up)
"Yes, as we were discussing before this rude interruption–" he paused and glared at his colleagues, "we came to the conclusion that perhaps this may be the doing of one our old villains. One who was recently released. Under the order of Agent Hurricane, we recieved a printout of anyone released for confinement in the last year. Not one person stands out on here as being able to do something of this extent so we are back to square one." Agent Indigo explained.
Cielle had walked over to the rooms windows, looking out onto the mildly quiet street. Since the situation, not many people were brave enough to venture outside for fear of getting 'infected'.
"Can it perhaps be the work of someone close to these people? A friend or family member who wants revenge on us for arresting these criminals?" She inquired
(sorry, ive been really busy the past few days)
"That's highly illogical," Oliana said suddenly. "We do background checks on all of our villains, even those that haven't been brought into custody. All family members and friends are either dead or would never come close to being capable of doing this. And we do background checks on every single application to the agency, so there's no way it's an inside job. This is someone new. It has to be."
"Then it must be someone who is using these captured villains as inspiration. For your first assignment in this mission, I think it would be best for the two of you to talk to the victims and the family of the victims.s of the attacks. There have been many new hospitals and such opened to specifically treat these people." Agent Indigo said, handing Cielle a file.
"Anyone in particular youd like for us to talk to?" She asked, briefly looking at the list of names in the folder. "How about Jackson Menzel? Says here he was the first registered victim. Maybe he could give us some answers?"
"I don't believe a victim would be able to tell us anything," Agent Indigo answered. "Very few of the victims have any idea about what is happening. No. I want you to go visit Kauri Waialiki. He's the head scientist of Axel Labs. He's had many, many years of experience with the Glitch. He considers it one of his specialties."
"Does he suffer from the Glitch?" Michael asked.
"No, but he's specialised in it for a different reason. Now, you are all excused. Glitch and Hurricane, I want you to head to Axel Labs now. Oh and Glitch, say hello to Mr Waialiki for me."
"I will, Clementine."
