Halo holds his shoulder and winces a little, that was definitely going to bruise.

They turned another corner and Alto frowned. "Oh, maybe I don't." Stormy led into a small apartment building and up many flights of stairs. "I didn't think you would." He said, beckoning for Alto to follow him as he climbed up a ladder at the top of the stairwell.
Halo sighs softly and stands slowly, rolling his shoulders. Practice was almost over.
Alto climbed up after Stormy and gasped as he saw the room above them. It was a biggish room with all windows on one side, the other side covered in drawings and various paintings. "You did these?" He asked Stormy, gazing all around the room in awe. Stormy blushed a little. "Yeah I started coming up here when I was 14."
Halo grabs a drink of water, gulping it down. He needed practice to be over with.
"This is so amazing..You're so talented." Alto said smiling, tracing his fingers over some of the pieces. He turned towards Stormy. "Does anyone else know about this?" Stormy grinned shyly back at him. "Just you." Alto frowned. "Why me?"
"Alright ladies! Practice thursday, game friday!" Coach yells. Halo nearly sprints to the changing room.
"I don't know. There's just..something about you." Stormy said, tilting his head a little while looking at Alto.
Halo sighs and runs a hand through his hair as he changes. He sighs softly and shakes his head.
(I'm just gonna skip over the part where he get's beaten to a pulp by the other members)
(oki doki)
Alto blushed heavily. "Thanks I guess." He walked over to the window and stood there for a minute looking out over part of the city.
Halo gags a little, leaning back against the lockers. He just sat there for a moment, feeling nothing but pain. His lip was busted, his right eye bruising a little. His entire body hurt from where he was punched and where he was kicked. He slowly and shakily stands, hissing in pain.
Alto turned back around again to Stormy. "Thanks for bringing me here." They stayed in the room for a couple more hours, talking about..everything.
Halo went to work, his hands shaking. He was tired, bruised and needed sleep. "Halo. Why don't you head home. I can take over your shift." Marie says gently. He shakes his head, "Gotta work." She grabs his hand. "Go. Home." He glanced at the older woman, but nods. He grabs his things and clocks out.
Alto lost track of time as he sat with Stormy, their hands intertwined next to them on the floor.
Halo walked home, limping a little. It had started to rain, but he simply placed his hood on his head. Sighing softly he looks at the ground, then towards the sky. Alto wasn't home yet. He gives a relieved sigh and makes dinner quickly. Dinner is in the microwave, I'm in bed. I felt a little sick so I decided to hit the hay early. he writes, leaving it on the table.
Alto didn't get home until late. He was giddy and smiling when he read Halo's note. His smile faded a bit but the feeling inside of him didn't diminish. He ate dinner quickly and went upstairs to Halo's room. The door was closed and he knocked quietly.
Halo rested on his bed, curled up. He had thrown up what little food he had managed, his body aching to much to do anything. He heard the quiet knock, not answering. He hides his bruised eye in his pillow, not wanting Alto to see him like this.
"Halo? Can I come in?" Alto asked, growing a little worried.
"Mmm…" He grunts quietly, but loud enough for the other to hear.
Alto opened the door and bent down next to Halo. "Hey man. What's wrong?"
Halo nuzzles into the pillow. "Sick…" He mumbles in reply.
"Clearly." Alto went and got a thermometer. "Open your mouth so I can check if you have a fever."
Halo nuzzles into his blankets. "I'm fine. I just need sleep." He says softly.
"C'mon just let me see your face." Alto pleaded, reaching out and stroking his head.
Halo shakes his head. "I'm fine. I just need sleep." he says softly. He leans into his brothers touch, sighing softly.
