"Angel, Angel is that you?!" Avery said, his body jolting up as his face gained a hopeful expression. "I thought you died Angel, but you're okay!" He exclaimed, running at a broken jog to where he could see Atticus. When he saw the angel, his face fell, realizing that this man wasn't his brother. "You're not Angel, I'm sorry to bother you." He said, his face quickly molding into a cold scowl as he turned around to begin digging again.
"Wait–" Atticus called out to the guy who came running towards him, only to turn away. His ears ringing from the echo of his own voice. He approached the guy slowly, limping, clinking his way over. "Who are you? How did you survive?"
"I'm not telling you my name and how do you know I have survived? How do you know I'm not dead and just coming here to haunt you? How do you know that I'm not a figment of your imagination?" Avery said, standing up and turning around.
