(Sounds good!)
There was no answer from the god except silence. It was only a few minutes later when he shifted again and slowly opened his eyes. He glanced over to Marli with eyes glazed over by lethargy and stared for a few moments, wrapping the furs and skins more around himself. More moments passed, and he yawned a feline yawn. Finally, he slowly sat up. He reached over to grab a strip of meat before eating it.
In the meantime, Marli had finished her own serving and laid back down amongst the furs. Head resting in the crook of her elbow, watching for signs of stirring in the god's form. Luckily she didn't have to wait for long—shorter than she could have hoped, in fact—and she propped herself up again. Marli watched as Jaci Jaterê took his breakfast. She waited for what she assumed might be an acceptable amount of time for him to settle into reality before: "You're awake," she observed carefully, suddenly aware of reality for herself.
The fog from yesterday had lifted. Now that he sat awake, Marli was hyperaware of each move she made and word she spoke in the presence of her generous host.
